I chose this property based on its reviews, and it exceeded my expectations. The grounds were beautifully maintained, the rooms were spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly.
The staff truly made the experience exceptional. A special thank you to Mariela, Adrian, and the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. We were always greeted with warmth, and they kindly kept our luggage safe while we spent a few days at Sibu Lodge. Their thoughtful restaurant recommendations, coordination of excursions and pickups, and assistance with our luggage made everything seamless.
The location is another highlight—set on a quiet street, yet just minutes from the town center with plenty of restaurants and shopping.
One small suggestion: adding a few pedestal fans to the upper-floor common area would make it even more comfortable.

Clean room, clean facility, good location, good breakfast and great staff. Many excellent restaurants in walking distance. Good deal for the price. Can Uber to major attractions except for the Arenal Volcano national park where there’s spotty Wi-Fi. Just pre-arrange with your Uber driver to pick you up afterwards.

Great breakfast menu, they let you add extras of whatever you’d like (eg. Extra eggs, rice, ham, etc). Staff were very friendly. The room itself was very average, clean but a bit aged. Thin walls so you can easily hear your neighbours on the hallway, doors slamming, dogs barking, etc. Air conditioning was very reliable.

One of the best and coziest hotels I’ve ever stayed in (budget friendly of course) We never splurge on hotels, this included so this being the best is by far an understatement! The staff was so welcoming from the beginning and informative, they had great combo deals for attractions to visit that we didn’t know would be available until arrival so we ended up-making our planned hike a guided one that included lunch and hot springs for $50! Amazing hospitality! The free breakfast is by far better than you expect free breakfast to be. Its a curated menu that you order off of every night before bed and schedule the time you would like to come down to have it served and it always had fruit to start. It was so special, the hotel itself was so accessible and had so much lounging and fun things to do even in the hotel. I loved my stay here, would definitely come back. Shoutout Josue!!!!

Adrian welcomed and gave us several restaurant recommendations. The included breakfast was delicious. We had a great view of volcano Arenal from our room. The AC worked great, excellent water pressure in the shower. Hair dryer and toiletries provided. Unlike other hotels, there were hooks to hang your wet towel on. Located far enough away from the main drag that it was quiet at night, but close enough to walk to restaurants and shops.

What a gem! The shared space has amazing volcano views. Very convenient location to the Main Street, only a 2min walk. Our room had a nice high ceiling. Breakfast was delicious, made to order each day and delicious. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed 3 nights and this is a truly lovely little hotel - clean, comfortable, spacious room, just off the Main Street - so quiet but also central. Local tips from friendly staff were appreciated. Breakfast was good. Would recommend.

Clean room and good free breakfast each morning, always with fruits and a choice of 4 Costa Rican breakfasts. Great location (close to many restaurants) and lovely view of the volcanoe from the upstairs balcony. Darts and games and a lounge area were appreciated. Very friendly staff. The staff made this place extra nice. I asked to borrow their microwave on some leftovers and she even plated it nicely and gave us silverware to use. Breakfast is pretty good. I wished there was a screen on the patio door or window so I can leave it open for extra ventilation without letting bugs in. The room can get humid too. The bathroom is a nice size, but for some reason water easily splashes out of the shower and gets the floor outside of it wet.
