Nice House for Family vacation

Great villa in a great location

We had a lovely time at this villa. It’s in a great location, half way between La Garde Freinet and Grimaud. The views are stunning, looking out over the hills towards Grimaud castle. The villa is spacious and very well equipped. Nice pool area, gardens and terraces. Lizzy our host was great, very friendly and quick to respond to messages. I’d definitely recommend a stay here.

Beautiful view en excellent house

We stayed with 2 families in this house en it was a great week. Every family had its own floor. We enjoyed the Sonos systeem with music around the pool. The house is well equipped, especially the kitchen! Our host Lizzy was excellent with help and responded quickly.

dream vacation

It was the best vacation in a long time. The house is huge and clean. All beds perfect. A fully equipped kitchen. Everything your heart desires. The outdoor area, the pool and the view are terrific. The 3 palm trees round it off. The location of the property is great. 5 minutes to La Garde Freinet and Grimaud. Both beautiful villages. Lizzy very helpful and easy going. Perfect holiday house

Mooie familie vakantie

Zeer mooi huis. Alles erop en eraan. Super lieve gastvrouw Lizzy waar je alles kan aan vragen. Voor ons ligt het huis wat afgelegen. Voor alles heb je een auto nodig. Zelfs voor kleine boodschappen naar de bakker is het vlug een ritje van 20 minuten. Ondanks dit kleine minpuntje voor ons hebben wij prachtige herinneringen gemaakt met kinderen en kleinkinderen. Waarvoor onze grootste dank.

Fantastisk uke ved La Garde-Freinet

Vakkert, praktisk og romslig hus, med gode senger og fine soverom med AC. Fint med to soverom oppe og to på grunnplan. Nydelig uteplass med både skygge og sol. Gode utemøbler og et deilig basseng. Vannet var 28 grader hele uken. Barna nådde bunnen på det grunneste, det var fint og trygt for både dem og oss voksne. Skjermet og veldig privat hage med flott utsikt. Vi likte veldig godt turmulighetene i området. Mulig å gå turer rett fra huset, og også kort biltur opp til La Garde-Freinet med mange muligheter for turer. Vi var til sjøen og badet flere ganger og til flere nydelige landsbyer og markeder i nærområdet. Lizzy, som møtte oss ved ankomst, var veldig hyggelig og fulgte oss opp underveis ved behov. Eier sendte også flere meldinger med hjelpsom informasjon om området og huset før ankomst. Vi vil virkelig anbefale dette vakre huset, og håper vi får anledning til å komme tilbake om et år eller to.

Tolles Haus mit atemberaubendem Blick

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns von Anfang an zu Gast bei Freunden gefühlt. Die Betreuung vor Ort von Lizzy und Ihrem Mann war genauso herzlich & liebevoll wie die Einrichtung des Hauses. Die generelle Raumaufteilung ist absolut familienfreundlich und bietet ausreichend Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Insbesondere der Panoramablick ins Grüne bis nach Grimaud ist atemberaubend. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Propriété ben entretenue fonctionnelle adaptée aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Magnifique vue sur la campagne environnante avec réveil au champ du coucou. Très agréable séjour vacances à la Licorne

La propriété est très agréable, bien entretenue et bien équipée. Nous avons été accueillis par Lizzie qui a mis tout en oeuvre pour nous satisfaire. Nous avons logé à 9 personnes dont 3 enfants en bas âge et un bébé. La surface habitable est vaste, le mobilier est de qualité, la cuisine très bien équipée, les couchages dans les chambres sont très confortables. Chaque chambre est équipée d'une salle de bain et de toilettes. Deux chambres sur quatre se situent en rez-de-chaussée. La climatisation est installée mais nous n'avons pas eu besoin de l'utiliser. Tous les résidents, dont les enfants, ont été enchantés par notre séjour dans la villa La Licorne. La vue donnant sur le château de Grimaud est magnifique, l'ambiance extérieure est paisible, il est possible de manger à l'extérieur sur une terrasse ombragée. La piscine est grande, le jardin offre une aire de jeux satisfaisante pour les enfants. Tranquillité garantie. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir passer nos vacances dans cette belle maison !

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette magnifique maison. Tout était parfait, elle est très bien équipée avec une vue époustouflante, assez loin pour être au calme et assez près pour visiter les alentours de cette belle région. Stunning property

This was our third stay at Le Licorne and we enjoy it more each time we stay. The property is extremely well located with an amazing pool and views looking out to Grimaud Castle. The property is very well equipped and the perfect base for exploring the area or simply relaxing.

An isle of peace and beauty

We had a wonderful week in La Licorne. What a great venue with good vibes. We really felt at home for one week. What a fantastic view from the terrace and especially the Chateau de Grimaud has been a beacon during the whole day, and even in the evening when the red Chateau and the million stars in the sky where in our company til 12 PM. Traditionally the garden sprinklers closed our days. The walking tour from La Licorne to the Chateau is highly recommendable. Going through roughs, vineyards, woods etc. Congratulations to the owners for creating such a spacious villa, excellent pool and garden, well facilitated!

Sehr schöne Villa in toller Lage!

Wir (vier befreundete Ehepaare) haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es war alles wie beschrieben. Lizzy hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns alles Nötige gezeigt. Die Villa ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Lediglich die Pyrolyse und der Grill im Backofen habe nicht funktioniert; vielleicht war es aber auch ein Bedienungsfehler unsererseits. Aber ansonsten alles top. Für unsere drei Autos war genügend Platz zum Parken vorhanden. Da das Objekt in den Bergen zwischen Grimaud und La Garde-Freinet liegt ist ein Auto notwendig. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen haben wir jeden Tag auf der Terrasse eingenommen. Der Blick in die Landschaft ist einfach nur traumhaft. Wir können die Villa uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
