Magnificent house with private heated pool and amazing panoramic sea view

Very beautiful family house (300 m²) completely renovated in 2009.

Located in an exceptional environment on the cliffs of Sainte-Marguerite with a breathtaking view on Saint-Mandrier and the Bay of Toulon, our house enjoys a quiet and very pleasant environment, close to the beaches (Magaud and Mejean at 900m, Mourillon at 2km), the fabulous coastal path on the harbor of Toulon, shops and 10 minutes by car from the city center, the port and the famous Provençal market.

Nestled on a cliff sheltered from all nuisance in a beautiful landscaped area of ​​1,500 m2 private and fully enclosed, with its beautiful Mediterranean pines dipping into the sea, suitable for leisure and relaxation, turned towards a large heated pool 12x6m secured by an electric curtain, it is very bright and sunny.

The cycle path linking Toulon to St Raphaël is nearby.

A large terrace around the heated swimming pool encourages sunbathing. A petanque area (game of bowls), table tennis, garden furniture and a barbecue (plancha) for cooking grills complete the outdoor equipment.

With an interior decorated with care, equipped with modern equipment and new - free WIFI connection, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, induction hob, electric oven, microwave, flat screen TV, DVD player - it is designed to comfortably accommodate 11 adults and 2 babies.

At the ground floor:
Large living room with large bay window overlooking a beautiful terrace and a large teak dining table for up to 12 people for your summer lunch in front of the sea (parasol available). Two large bedrooms (4 beds) with en-suite bathroom for each of them, large fitted kitchen and fully equipped, TV lounge and independent WC complete the ground floor.

Upstairs :
1 parental suite with ensuite bathroom (bath+shower+WC) including a south facing terrace with a fantastic view over the bay of Toulon. 1 large bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with 1 single bed (extra mattress on request), 1 bathroom with shower and toilet.

Cleaning service + bed linen & towels for 240€

An extra would be requested for energy costs in Winter (price depending on the period and number of people)

Ideally located near the Valgarde golf course (5 km). Toulon at 4km.

The excellent gourmet restaurant of Les Pins Penchés is less than 700m away.

We have just returned from our stay at this incredible villa. The location, views and overall facilities were all outstanding, the photos of the property give you a sense of what to expect, but tbh the view was magnificent. The villa delivered on everything we were expecting, and it managed well with our family of 10, plus various guests and there were no issues.Checking in and out were both timely and well arranged.We would definitely book this villa again.

Excellent house and pool and wonderful sea views

We had a very happy time. Spacious house, lovely warm pool, excellent facilities. Paid extra for rather old towels and some carpets need a clean but these were incidental to a lovely holiday. Good, easy communication both with the owner beforehand and with Marion who let us into the house. Apologies for breaking lamp which we were happy to pay for. Thank you for our holiday.

Fabulous family holiday

We had an incredible stay, the house is huge and very well equipped. There were 4 children, all under 5 and 8 adults in our party. Plenty of room for the children to run around on the grass outside with no fear of falling over and hurting themselves on hard ground. Perfect location to explore the local area and just a 5 min drive to the beautiful beaches. The pool was lovely and we spent every afternoon in it, we couldn’t get the children out they loved it so much. However, it is not fenced off so if you do have young children, you do need to keep an eye on them when outside.

Excellent séjour dans cette vaste villa, disposant d’une superbe vue sur la côte Toulonnaise. Dans une rue calme, la villa bien protégée des voisins est un havre de paix et un plaisir pour les yeux. Deux jolies plages sont accessibles à pieds, et les commerces proches. Parfait point de départ pour découvrir cette région possédant de nombreuses activités. Propriétaire très aimable et réactif à une demande concernant la piscine. Toute la famille a apprécié son séjour dans cette vaste maison où chacun a trouvé rapidement ses marques. Je recommande vivement.

Lovely villa with a large pool in a fabulous location

We spent a long time researching the best place to stay for our family of 11 (7 adults and 4 children under the age of 7) and had high expectations based on previous reviews and the photos, we were not disappointed. The location is wonderful, the views stunning (lovely sunsets) and being high up on the cliffs it is cooled by coastal winds so there is generally no need for air conditioning although the front downstairs bedroom can get a little hot but the owners have supplied a fan in this room. The main upstairs bedroom is vast with a similar sized bathroom and a balcony looking out to sea, other rooms are much as described although the second downstairs bedroom had two sets of bunk beds which was not clear from the description, this was not an issue as we had youngsters in there, but it isn't suitable for adults. The check in and check out in process with Cyrielle (agent) was smooth and a problem with a non-functioning dishwasher fixed the next working day. We did not expect towels for the pool/beach but expected a hand towel per person in addition to a bath/shower towel and there was no towel spare for the downstairs toilet. The local beaches Magaud and Mejan are not easily accessible being a 10 minute walk along the road followed by a steep 10 minute walk to the sea. The excellent sandy beaches of Plages Mourillion however are only a 10 minute drive withe free parking. We loved the villa and were sorry to leave.

Friends get away July 2023

The villa was in a stunning location, spacious and comfortable. The garden was private with a good size pool, perfect for lazy relaxing days. For a more energetic dip the beaches are only a 20 min walk away, be prepared for the invigorating walk up hill on the way back. There are 2 great restaurants at the beach with another 5 mins walk from the villa. For dining in, the kitchen is well equipped but I would comment that compared to the rest of this beautiful villa, the kitchen is a little tired. We opted not to drive and once we had figured out the bus routes found getting to the centre of La Garde & Toulon very straight forward and very cheap. Perhaps some information on bus routes would be a useful addition to the villa’s information book. We were disappointed that towels were not provided for the pool, these are quite a heavy bulky item to pack into luggage when flying. Overall though, we had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay and would recommend this villa.

Eine einmalig schöne Auszeit

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im sehr angenehm eingerichteten Haus, im tollen Garten an dieser Lage. Wir schätzten die Ruhe. Es war eine einmalig schöne ‚Blase‘, fern vom Weltgeschehen, fern vom Alltag und fern von Dichtestress. Wir genossen die Ausflüge per Bus, Velo, zu Fuss oder Auto zu den Stränden, ins Hinterland, in die Städtchen Toulon und Sanary sM und auf den Markt. Die Kommunikation mit Guillaume und Veronique war angenehm. Gerne empfehlen wir das Haus weiter.

Maison fantastique

Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique et reposante avec 5 adultes et un enfant dans cette fantastique maison. L'intérieur de la maison est encore plus grand qu'il n'y paraît sur les photos, mais il est en même temps très confortable. Les chambres sont grandes et lumineuses. Les lits sont grands et les matelas très confortables. Nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis comme chez nous. La piscine est exceptionnellement grande et la vue sur la mer est tout simplement époustouflante. Grâce aux arbres, on a aussi un peu d'ombre, ce qui est très bien quand il fait très chaud. Grâce à la belle pelouse, les enfants peuvent aussi jouer. Dans la maison, il y a aussi beaucoup de jeux de société et de jouets pour la piscine (bouée, planche de natation, ballons, seaux, etc.). On peut se rendre à pied à une boulangerie et à de belles petites plages. Comme il s'agit de plages de pierres, il est recommandé de porter des aquashoes pour se baigner. La communication avec le propriétaire était très amicale et simple. À l'arrivée et au départ, Véronique nous a accueillis très chaleureusement et nous a donné de super conseils sur les activités à faire dans les environs. Nous pouvions la contacter à tout moment. Pour notre fille, Véronique a spécialement préparé une place pour dormir et a installé une table pour enfants sur laquelle elle a pu dessiner. Notre fille était très enthousiaste. Et nous avons été très heureux de voir que les enfants étaient bien accueillis ! Nous avons déjà loué des maisons dans le sud de la France, mais nous avons rarement été aussi bien accueillis et la maison était vraiment superbe. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute l'année prochaine !

Belle situation face à la mer

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine en famille. La vue est à couper le souffle et de belles petites criques et plages sont à proximité (faisables à pied). La maison est superbement équipée, décorée et entretenue. Ajoutez-y une belle piscine, les cigales et le rosé pour une ambiance de vacances parfaite. Bref, super!

Pour plusieurs familles , c'est top ; nous avions chacune notre espace. La maison est vraiment très belle et bien équipée. La vue est magnifique. Les enfants ont bien profité de la piscine . Pour les plages ,par contre, c'est plus simple en voiture...
