Beautiful location

The view and location is 5 star plus. The bedrooms are fine and a bit run down and 3 star. Agent was great and the kitchen is well equipped. Overall a great rental for large groups.

Epic Views and Stay!

If you need a break from life's hustle, this is the place to be! Waking up to the view from this space was just incredible and allowed for the perfect backdrop for our retreat! If we find ourselves back in La Jolla, this will be our spot!

Graduation Weekend!

We had the very best time staying at this home in La Jolla for our daughter's college graduation! The view was absolutely incredible and the host was really responsive when we had a couple of questions. She also allowed us a later check out so we could enjoy a Mother's Day brunch before heading to the airport. Plenty of space for our group! Would love to stay at this home again!

Wonderful View

The property management company was amazing and very helpful. The house is a bit run-down with lots of marks on the walls, some broken fixtures, etc. but the view and the outside pool area is fantastic.

Beautiful view. Pool, hot tub, grill, appliances were all easy to use and in good working order. Check in process was good and everyone was very easy to deal with. Highly recommend this house

Corporate Retreat

Absolutely lovely stay with an unbeatable view. The common space was enough to host 20 people easily during the day. The swimming pool was large and the view is even more beautiful than shown in the pictures. After I made my booking, the host almost immediately called me to ask me about the trip and set up a meet and greet.

Large Family Vacation

Overall, we had a great time at this property. The deck and pool with ocean view are amazing. The property management team provided some specific cooking supplies we needed based on some information we provided during early communication which was very nice and appreciated. We did have some issues with the air conditioning the first couple of days, but the property management team was always very responsive and worked to fix the problem. I would say that there are some features of the home that could use some updating given this is a premium rental.

Most memorable retreat!

Hosted my For His Glory CEO Inner Circle Retreat here with 10 incredible faith driven Business women and it was divine! I live locally and this is one of my favorite spots so to find an ocean front house that fit us all was a dream. Colleen was amazing to work with and made sure we had everything we needed! Will be back!!

The pool is great

The pool is the highlight of this property. The AC was not working when we arrived. It was 87 degrees in the house. We had to stay at a hotel the 1st night - the property manager refunded some of our 1st nights stay. The AC units were "repaired" the 2nd day. However, the AC units are old and need replaced (per the HVAC tech) and cannot keep the main living area cool - where you spend alot of time. There are 2 floor registers in the huge living area/kitchen area. The inside needs some TLC - a coat of paint (marks/dirt on alot of the walls), rusted & damaged floor registers, large spider webs on the undersides of the pool chairs, bird poop on the glass deck rail and pool decking. Unless the AC issue is addressed, can't say I'd recommend staying here in the summer months.

Family Reunion

We choose this property for a family reunion for 10 adults and two small children and were there in the spring when the weather was lovely. The property was more than large enough to amply accommodate all of us and then some. The home is exquisitely located with an outstanding view and outdoor living space and the main living area is wonderful and the kitchen is large with double everything. The primary bedroom is luxurious. HOWEVER, the house is in disrepair. All of the remaining bedrooms are very basic and remind me of my college dorm. Some bathrooms have cracked toilet seats, fixtures are worn, bath water temperature is difficult to control, and your children might easily scald. The kitchen has two dishwashers, one was broken. The kitchen has a gas range, several burners were non-functional. We found a live mouse in the pantry and wifi has a password your grandmother can crack. And the house has some interesting design peculiarities which you can live with for a few days, but if you are contemplating an extended stay or need to work...

Awesome House!

This house is great! Stunning view of the ocean, lots of great outdoor seating. Loved the fire pit at night. Lots of bedroom options, kitchen was spacious and well equipped. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Ocean Sands for a week to celebrate a wedding in the family. We had 16 adults and the house was perfect! It is definitely worn and tired in spaces but it truly did not matter. Everything was clean, the location was spectacular, beach access was so simple, communication with the property manager was excellent, house sleeps everyone well, great layout for large group, pool and hot tub were a big hit along with the fireplaces. If we were in the area, we would definitely look to rent this place again!

Beautiful Views

We take an annual work Christmas trip for our entire staff with spouses, normally to the east coast or the Bahamas, but this year we went west, and it did not disappoint. The property manager was very attentive, great communication. The place was beautiful, and worked well for us.
