Ensuite, si toutes les autres résidences affichent sur leur fronton leur nom bien visible depuis la route, Le Varet se contente d'un nom au-dessus de la porte principale située qui n'est pas visible depuis la route et le parking à proximité. Bref, grosse galère pour trouver le bâtiment. Enfin, l'état général de la chambre est moyen et il ne faut pas regarder de trop prêt la qualité du ménage...

Man ist flexibel und die Lage macht es einem noch leichter, die Umgebung zu erkunden und alles mitzunehmen, was Chamonix zu bieten hat. Bei Fragen erhält man schnelle Antwort des Gastgebers. Das Appartement verfügt über eine sehr gute Grundausstattung (gutes WLAN, ausreichend Geschirr, Töpfe, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank, auch Klopapier und Müllbeutel waren da). "The location is amazing. The cable car, that is located very close, runs up to the top of the mountain where the views were stunning. This apartment is very small but this it's charm. There is a very steep hill up to the room and we struggled to carry our bags. Anne is a wonderful host and was so helpful."

"Great place to stay, just off the village square, right next to the Mont Blanc Hotel, and two minutes walk from Le Chamois Télécabine. A quiet, calm and convenient location - especially for getting on the first lifts. Could do with refreshing the cutlery and crockery as a couple of items missing, but that is the worst it gets. The only word of warning, make sure you order the bedding and towels beforehand as they are not included in the base price. "

"Even though the weather wasn’t great and we couldn’t take the cable car to Aiguille du Midi, we still really enjoyed our time in Chamonix. The staff were very friendly and even let us park our car early — free parking is a real bonus here! Our two-bedroom apartment was huge, fully equipped, and had a massive balcony with amazing mountain views. The hot breakfast was excellent. The only downsides were that the laundry machine was out of order and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Otherwise, it would have been a perfect stay."
