However, no temperature control in the unit since it appears to be a single unit within the home on the other side of the door. Too cold with the cool air blowing all night the first night. “The space is clean and well decorated, it feels homey without being cluttered. There are upstairs neighbors, and the noise they generated at times was loud and took away from the overall experience. The bathroom is large and clean, the shower was phenomenal. Having in house laundry was awesome and added value for us on our stay. Meg was easy to reach and responded quickly. “It was a large expansive property with lots of amenities. But you had to drive or walk quite a bit to get around the resort. Not a problem unless you're disabled or unable to walk. When making a reservation we weren't given the option to book a Riverfront room or a parking lot View room. There was no delineation of rooms. So when we got there we had a parking lot room. I would have loved to have paid for and had a place on the river because in order to see the river which is the main thing at……

We especially appreciated how welcoming it was for our dog—it made our trip even more enjoyable.The location was ideal, with easy access to the Old Mill District, the Deschutes River, and the Cascade Lakes. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. We made so many wonderful family memories here and would happily stay again!”

“I gave this listing one star not because it was terrible. We, in fact, did not stay there. On the day we were to arrive the air quality was 'very unhealthy' and the community was on an a 'Ready' alert for evacuation. The Akawa Butte fire was five miles north and was now the priority resource fire in the country. The second day we would have been there, they evacuated two thousand residents. We decided the last thing this community needed was two more tourists to suck up valuable resources……

“It was nice to have the river outside the deck. The property has some updates, but still looks like an older property. We enjoyed the restaurant, it was nice to sit outside on the beautiful patio. When checking in you need to provide a credit card for incidentals, which is fine. We found out we were billed 195 after check out. Thank goodness I checked my credit card statement. Communication with the management company was good but it did take 3 weeks to get that money credited back. Just make……

“We had to cancel after entering the loft and finding only one bed instead of the 3 beds listed on the website. On calling the listed number “Vanessa” with Family Time Vacation Rentals in Utah (the loft is in Oregon) refused to believe me and repeatedly claimed there were “floor mats” which wasn’t true, not that mats on a cement floor was going to be a satisfactory replacement for the promised twin beds. After a lot of haggling Vanessa offered to send us to a more expensive place but by then all……
