Great inn, room had a great view of the lake.
The breakfast was decent with eggs, sausages, waffles etc
Great dining options on site.
Staff are very helpful and kind.
Just an older building.
Overall had a great stay! Would not hesitate to go again.

Check in was smooth. Actually got a quick tour of the facilities and where best to park. Restaurant & bar looked busy but we ordered a famous pizza close by. Located right on the water, full boat docks. Beds were comfy but older, room very clean. Super close to New Buffalo & Indians Dunes.

Only thing lacking in La Porte near the Blue Heron was EV chargers. Had a wonderful event at the Civic Center and will look forward to a stay during warm weather.

The room was “clean” but very dated. The hallways were very dirty (stained carpets). Supposedly part of this place has been redone/updated but I definitely was not located there. Based on my room I’d request an updated room or not stay there again. Uses real keys vs keycards which is ok but easier to lose.

We have book a spa room for the last 4 years. My birthday is in January and always cold. The staff is great. Restaurant on site for dinner and great breakfast bar. It’s a wonderful place visit in the summer but also well worth the off season stay.
