「Our original lodging became unavailable to to an unforeseen circumstance. The staff at Manitou Lodge were so helpful and accommodating. We ended up staying in the lodge and had a blast. 「Manitou Lodge is in a beautiful tropical forested area. The Lodge and our bedroom were homey and nice. Our bed was the most cushy of all on our road-trip. The bathroom, however needs attention. The outdated pink tub had black mold everywhere! The sink area also needs replacing. 」

「Due to technical issues unbeknownst to us, the campground isn't actually open for another month. We found this out after booking, driving there, setting up our site, and sleeping one night. Explains why our site wasn't cleared or cleaned and no bathroom/shower/or waste facilities were available. But, we paid for 2 nights so we stayed for two nights. All that being said, this was probably the best campsite I've ever stayed at. 4 stars only for lack of communication and no facilities at the time....

It's so well equipped with games, books, huge fireplace, comfy couches and native blankets to wrap up in if desired, interesting artifacts in a very quiet forest location. 「What a wonderful and secluded space. Our site was close to not only the portapotty and shower, but the trash can and camp sink as well. Very reasonable rates, easy communication with hosts. Some had a walking path to the actual site and some were more easily accessible. Car space is super limited.
