Another great stay!

Coachella Music Festival
2nd year in a row staying at this property and have already booked it for next year! This property is perfect for all of our Coachella needs. Check in was easy and quick and the host is very attentive if any questions need to be answer. Overall the property is fantastic. Wonderful desert get away
Another delightful stay at this private vacation home. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and spa while looking at the stars under the desert sky. Jane is a dream to work with, and numerous upgrades were made since our previous stay last year. The comfortable home was fully stocked with dishes, cookware, and various spices, along with loads of bath and pool towels. Thank you Jane, and we look forward to returning next year!

Great Cove experience
Jane's house in La Quinta Cove is a terrific place to spend a few days or a few weeks. I really enjoyed the house - especially how well set up the kitchen is - and the location. I made good use of the trails nearby and the bike paths in the area. The neighborhood is comfortable and mostly quiet. Jane is very responsive to any questions or problems that might occur and made me feel quite welcome. I can very easily see myself returning in the future!

Relaxing home base
This property made for a relaxing home base for our active family vacation. I liked that it is close to hiking trails and bike lanes, and especially the backyard, patio and hot tub. We used the kitchen for some meals and there was literally everything we needed. When I needed to talk to the property owner, I heard back very promptly. I would suggest that some of the info that was emailed could be updated (access information, WiFi info).

Wonderful Stay
This was our second time staying here. Jane’s pool house is ideal for enjoying the desert sun. The pool, spa, and location next to fantastic hikes maximizes our experience. We very much like the surrounding neighborhoods and proximity to Old Town La Quinta. Jane is very kind and quick to response to any questions we had. Only downside is it is very hard to leave!

26th Wedding Anniversary trip
My husband and I enjoyed this lovely La Quinta home for the second time. It is comfortable, clean and well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans and some spices etc to cook at home. We used the BBQ one night which was awesome! The pool and spa in the very private backyard is the best! Comfortable, relaxing and beautiful getaway
We loved our stay here. There were 4 of us, 2 couples and the the home was more than spacious enough for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked, we bought some spices but didn't really need to as there were plenty there and we've added to the stock now. If you cook with olive oil you may want to bring some as that bottle was done but we wouldn't expect that to be stocked. The instructions were helpful. There were a few minor things that were confusing and we couldn't find but it was so minor we didn't reach out to Jane until our last night as we just wanted to let her know for the next people. She responded right away and said they'd all be fixed. Again it was so minor we weren't concerned but just wanted to let her know. We spent a lot of time in the beautiful backyard enjoying the pool and spa. As it was early July the pool was more than warm enough. We love that there was no chlorine smell to deal with. The gardener did come early on Monday or Tuesday morning can't remember. While my spouse and I were up the other couple wasn't and had earplugs in but it still woke them up. The info does say a gardener would come but we didn't expect them to be there at 8am so a bit early for those on vacation but again not a big deal. We would come back here in a heartbeat. We mostly cooked at the house but we did eat out once at RD RNNR Libations Pints & Plates in Old Town. The food and service was amazing there we highly recommend it. Thanks for a great stay.

My Husband, son &grandchildren were there for 4 nights, it was delightful. We all loved the pool area. We grilled each night. very nice, clean grill. BUT. the owner Jean Davis, is not getting her moneys worth in the gardener dept. the yard was a bit messy, lots of debris behind the jacuzzi, over by the grill. The house was nice, comfy sofa & beds.

Relaxing stay in a clean home
My mom and Ioved our four night stay in this beautiful home. The neighborhood is very quiet and the backyard is private. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the morning and admiring the architecture. We spent most of our time in the pool and spa, we loved both! The kitchen and grill were great for cooking meals, and we also tried a few of the nearby restaurants which were all amazing. The house was incredibly clean and the beds were super comfortable. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it!

A hiking location
The house needs a bit of updating, but the location for hiking was hard to beat—many hikes within five minutes. The yard with pool and spa was very inviting.

Great stay in the desert!
Return trip to this wonderful vacation home, and we had a great two week stay! It is the perfect spot to access the trails and only a mile away from La Quinta Old Town. We initially had a glitch with the spa heater and contacted Jane. She immediately contacted someone to come out that day to assess the heater. A part was replaced and we were up and running (thanks Jane!). The first few days we were there it was in sunny and only in the upper 60’s, but surprisingly the unheated pool was a comfortable for swimming. The spa is amazing, and we appreciate there’s no additional fee for heating. Thanks again Jane for being an amazing host and we look forward to our return trip next year!

The house met our requirements and we would rent there again. It was comfortable and accommodated all of us. We had a little issue with heating the Jacuzi and pool but it was sorted out with the owner.

Fun place to stay in La Quinta
We very much enjoyed our two week stay at the Pool House. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and back yard area. It is close to our two favorite restaurants, Arnold Palmer and Stuft Pizza. The pool was too cold for us but our granddaughters came for a couple of days and it was perfect for them!

Wonderful area
La Quinta is a delightfully relaxed and quiet area. However there are plenty of restaurants and shopping close by in Old Town. The walking trials at nearby La Quinta Cove are spectacular. The house was comfortable if somewhat dated. The hot tub great and we used it every evening. There were a couple issues but Jane was quick to respond. We had a good stay.

The property was great. The stay was relaxing and enjoyable. The area was very secluded and quiet. The only issue we experienced was getting into and closing the lock box. We would have wished the pool was a little warmer, but the spa was really enjoyable. We would come and stay here again.

Disappointed and uncomfortable
We were greatly disappointed in this property and experience. The location and neighborhood were great. The pool was great although we did have a few issues with the pool/spa that we were able to resolve with the technician when we called the pool company listed at the property. The patio needed cleaning and there was a lot of junk around the property that needed to be addressed including hoses, empty pots, old wood and other debris laying around. These would be safety issues if children were traveling with us. The house has been neglected for some time. It was very dark and dingy with many lightbulbs missing, broken light fixtures, and missing smoke detectors. It was very hot and although you could adjust the thermostat, it was regulated making it impossible to maintain a comfortable temperature. The furniture was old and uncomfortable, including the mattresses on the floor, tables in the bedroom (but no dressers), split patio lounge chairs. There was no place to put your clothes except in the closets which were full of stuff and short of hangers. They do have tables in the bedrooms to prop your luggage on. We ran out of toilet paper, hand soap, bath soap and other things that were supposed to be provided. The bathtub failed to drain so when you showered you were ankle deep in dirty water. The sheets were hot and scratchy, the duvet covers had not been cleaned in some time and the pillows were old and soiled. The towels were good if you don't mind bleach stains. The kitchen was not well appointed as described but had a few things including 6 forks, dull knives, assorted silverware, plates and glasses, etc. All of the appliances were functional. A lot of guests have left things over the years (like spices, coffee, etc.) but it really needs to be cleaned of old outdated and expired items and the cupboards need a good cleaning inside and out. The floors are old and need to be power cleaned as the grout is filthy. Prior to our stay I contacted the owner with a few questions. I found her to be very difficult and unhelpful. The information I received regarding the property conflicted with information provided onsite causing some confusion. This property does not have the comfort of the renters in mind. It is tired and neglected but could be very good with a little TLC, modifications, and support from the owner. This review is documented with dated pictures and video taken at the property.

I would never rent to these people again. All they did was complain. Never got such a ridiculous review. I will report these people to VRBO. Plus they changed the pool to HOT and it cost me a lot of money.
