It was alright

The whole place smells a little bit funny. Bathrooms are extremely small (I am European, I am used to small bathrooms) but clean. You do hear your neighbors and people climbing up and down the stairs. No elevators which was fine with us, just be aware. The location is perfect. Harbor, old city center, it's all right there.

Mésaventure de douche

Odeur désagréable dans la chambre en arrivant. Douche défaillante : parfois pas d'eau sortant, parfois eau marron, en tout cas eau froide. Je suppose que c'est lié au réseau mais c'était parfaitement malvenu pour la toilette du matin

Petit hôtel charmant bien situé près du vieux port de La Rochelle, c’est un bon choix pour un séjour d’une ou deux nuits. Quelques petits bémols ne nuisent pas trop à la note globalement positive. Contrairement aux informations sur le site et sur l’app Hotels.com, la réception de cet hôtel n’est pas ouverte de 7h30 à 19h30. Il y a une pause de 3 heures environ au milieu de la journée (~12h/12h30 à ~15h/15h30) à prendre en compte si on compte arriver tôt et laisser ses bagages à la réception. À noter aussi : si on laisse ses bagages à la réception, ils ne seront pas stockés dans une pièce sécurisée, seulement en bas de l’escalier. Forte odeur de citron un peu chimique dans la chambre, évidemment issue d’un désodorisant placé dans l’espace de rangement, pomme de douche pas très bien entretenue et pression faible. En revanche, lit très confortable avec beaucoup d’oreillers, assez de place pour se reposer sur le petit canapé et chaise aussi. Suggestions : service café dans la chambre. Globalement, un bon hôtel pour le prix, personnel accueillant, sympathique et serviable.

Petit hôtel très bien situé au pied du vieux port très bien insonorisé de l extérieur. la salle de bain et les WC sont petit et dans ma chambre trop proche du lit.

Hôtel très bien situé, sur le port à proximité des restaurants et des lieux de visite. Jolies chambres bien décorées spacieuses et bien insonorisées. Toilette et salle d’eau séparés. Parking public payant à proximité (pas le choix à La Rochelle). Pas d’ascenseur, il faut gravir les 3 étages. Petit déjeuner sans intérêt. Il vaut mieux consommer dans les cafés ou boulangeries avoisinantes.

Hôtel agréable et jolie chambre mais petits bemols

Chambre agréable et joliment décorée. Literie très confortable. Bien insonorisée depuis la rue. Hôtel charmant Abattant des toilettes mal fixé et chasse d'eau défectueuse mais sinon chambre impeccable. Petit déjeuner trop tôt pour les vacances et trop cher pour le choix et la qualité.

Adresse très centrale et confortable mis à part que le lit double n'atteint même pas les 140cm et une salle de bain refaite mais sans ventilation sérieuse d'où une certaine humidité y compris dégradation de la peinture au niveau du puits de jour... le quel n'est pas vraiment isolé du bruit de la rue (centre vielle animé)

Hôtel et personnel charmants !

A 7 min de la gare à pied, petit hôtel charmant. Le personnel est très souriant et sympathique. Hôtel refait récemment. Chambre parfaite, propreté et literie. Notre demande de baignoire a été prise en compte, personnel à l'écoute. Petit dej plutôt restreint mais économique et sans gaspillage puisque nous commandons nous-mêmes nos souhaits. Localisation parfaite à 2 pas du port et du centre-ville. Merci pour ce beau week-end !

hôtel de bon qualité prix

Notre séjour s'est très bien passé. la situation de l'hôtel est idéal. L'accueil fut très bon et le personnel est arrangeant. Le seul bémol selon moi, c'est l’isolation sonore. Assez dérangée par la bruit surtout lors du couché. Globalement c'est un très bon hôtel.

Nice location for a one-night stay in La Rochelle

Very nice updated room and bath, clean and with excellent sound proofing. Be aware that there is no elevator, and you may need to haul luggage up a couple narrow flights of stairs. The city center as well as the "new port" area are easy walking distance, and the hotel fronts on a little square which includes a Carrefour City (for groceries) and a nice bar/bistro. Enjoyed the hotel and this lovely harborfront city. Merci!
