"I had a wonderful week at this house with my family in September. The house is big and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. It is in the countryside which is very peaceful and quiet. Our party were all adults but this house is also perfect for families with small children. "When Mieke welcomed us, we felt immediately at home she couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and this continued through the week, checking on us and providing us with cooling fans, advice on places to see and anything else we needed. The property rustic with huge amount of character. It is in a very rural quiet setting but within an easy drive of places of interest in the Dordogne and Vezere valleys. Would definitely recommend if traditional is what you are after."

"your photos must be more than 3 years old... no parasol, the bane awning doesn't work and is ready to fall down. 2 teaspoons, 3 bowls, 4 garden chairs etc... for a rental for 6 people. First day, I cleaned for 4 hours SUPER when you pay for the service. Being allergic to dust in this house was complicated. Pool maintenance, nobody came, no net available... Thank you for contacting me to find a solution, you want photos I have!"

"We had a terrific stay at Patrice and Armelle's Gite. The hosts have large hearts and gave us a whole basket full of excellent local nuts. We were welcomed very warmly and kindly although we arrived late and Armelle helped us with all that we needed, including the rental and application of bedsheets. "We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and well located. There were some mice running about and we did find droppings in the bed, although the house was otherwise very clean and well appointed. We would have liked some coffee left in the cabinet at least for the first morning and the bedroom could use some hooks for clothes or coats.
