Kapaa Lae Nani Beach Hotels

"The room was clean you could smell the bleach, however the paint was peeling off the ceiling over the table, over the bed and over by the kitchen sink. Plus we are older adults and they gave us a third floor room and trying to pack 2 40 plus pound suitcases up that many stairs was ridiculous. The staff was nice, parking was ok. The toilet plugged up for no reason and for coincidence they happen to have 2 plungers under the bathroom sink. The hot water took about 5 to 10 minutes to get hot. We unfortunately will not plan on staying there again. If they would update the rooms and fix the plumbing it could be a super nice hotel. The grounds were beautiful. I would not stay there if i had kids because they have a bar at the pool so you have a bunch of drinking, questionable people watching children swimming. "

"The rooms and overall property was very well kept and clean! The AC worked so well also so made it nice to sleep at night. The location is amazing and ease to the beach was also great. We loved our time here! "

"I was traveling for business and the hotel supported that just fine. My room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Bed was great. Hotel staff was superb. I had a car and it was easy to park each day. Cost for that is $25/day, which for Hawaii is typical. I did not get breakfast at the hotel due to a long wait time, regardless time of morning. Lots of good breakfast options nearby for a better deal. I don't drink, but the tiki bar seemed to be hopping each night. They have an onsite luau 3x per week; adds nicely to the atmosphere even if you don't join it. The pools (2x) were pretty cool hut the jacuzzi was nice and hot, even if the jets are wimpy. Would definitely stay there again. Rate was good compared to other options."

"Very well outfitted. The hosts have provided various board games and novels. The kitchen is completely outfitted with gadgets and a nice supply of spices and such. Wonderful view and the grounds have variety of plants. Take a slow walk around to see them all. Close to a few restaurants and shops and a farmers market. "

"The kitchen had most of what we needed. Would've maybe liked a few more containers for leftovers. Laundry wasn't an "issue" but if you didn't bring enough quarters (2.50 to wash and 2.00 to dry), you had to download an app to use. Our only "complaint" would be the birds making a mess of the railing under the gutter and near the door access to beach stuff.The stopper for the main bathroom needs some attention. We had to operate it from under the sink. Not a huge issue."
