"The cabin is new, clean and well kept. All necessities provided (plus extras). Very private and tranquil. The kids loved interacting with the alpacas and walking through the property. The fireplace kept the cabin very warm and cosy. A perfect getaway from a hectic city life."

"We had a lovely stay at Blue Slate Cottage, with cozy fires, wandering around the paddocks and our son loved seeing the animals like horses and kangaroos. The hosts were very friendly and helpful."

"The most beautiful farm experience, especially if you have young kids. My girls are 6 and 3 years old. The girls had a wonderful time experiencing:- Feeding chickens and ducks- Collecting freshly laid eggs- Learning how to milk a cow- Feeding sheep - Patting twin lambs- Pulling up Yabbie nets- Toasting mashmellows over a fire the hosts set up for usThere's a sandpit and cubby house the girls enjoyed. They spent hours outside. The hosts Kathy and Ken were very welcoming and approachable. It is close enough to town we were able to duck into Goulburn for supplies etc... There's a clean and complete kitchen to cook. There were board games, puzzles and toys for the kids. Even though it was cold outside the heating inside kept us warm and comfortable. :) The girls have already been talking about coming back to visit. Thank you to Kathy and Ken for a lovely break. We will see you again. :)"

"We stayed at the cottage the end of June, so it was fairly cold. The fire was effective at keeping the cottage cosy, and the oil heater was a good backup through the night. A great place for a peaceful escape, nice rural outlook, sunset through the trees, Kookaburras at day break, a nice verandah which catches the afternoon sun. Easy country drive to places of interest and great eateries. Friendly, obliging hosts *****"

"Just simply magical. Clean, cozy, pet-friendly, impeccable kitchen, and just nature all around. What more can you ask for? Seriously can't fault this stay with anything. This is one of the best stays out there. The hosts (and their dogs) are extremely accomodating too!"

"We had a great stay. Property was as described and shown in photos. The wood fire was great in keeping the place warm during our winter stay. Mike was very informative and responded very quickly to any queries we had. Very quiet and great escape from city life. Highly recommend and will be staying again."
