"We had a wonderful stay. It’s exactly what you think when dreaming of a country Irish cottage. Could have done without all the house spiders though.. but they were friendly and obliging to share their space. Great location to donegal town and Northern Ireland tourist destinations were easy for day trips!Would definitely go back. "

"Wonderful experience staying at the property.
One suggestion for the owners is to provide instructions on the use of appliances particularly those appliances that are unique to Europe e.g. the combination washer- dryer, hot water heater in the shower etc. we figured it out eventually but a how to booklet would have been helpful."

"A short break, overall a good time had by all. However while the overall condition of the cottage was good it could have done with a real deep clean. Bedding was obviously used and the mattress was uncomfortable as you could feel the springs through it. Furniture inside also left a lot to be desired from a comfort point of view. No Wi-Fi. TV basic and small. Rooms small. But on the positive this is really well located to local amenities, fully enclosed large back garden was great for the dog....

"We loved our stay here! We had a group of 6 - one had to sleep on the couch but it is large and very comfortable! Very quaint and well-maintained. The host was very kind and helpful and attended to whatever we needed in a quickly and friendly manner. It was very easy to communicate prior to our arrival and she accommodated a late check-in with no issue. We enjoyed all the animals, they’re all very sweet and quiet. Beautiful country surroundings. "Einzigartig die Lage: auf der Farm, mit vielen Tieren, extrem netten Wirtsleuten, die beste Auskunft über Kultur, Natur und Geschichte der Umgebung geben können und bereitwillig die guten Produkte ihrer Landwirtschaftlichen Erträge zur Verfügung stellen. Und die Idee und Ausstattung der originellen Unterkunft:
Klein, aber sehr fein!"

"Our hosts Elspeth and Drew Vaughan were amazing. Very welcoming and informative. Some of the most pleasant and adorable hosts I’ve ever had. The area and hut were very clean and comfortable. They provided history and information about the area. Just wonderful. If I’m ever able to return to Ireland, I would definitely choose to stay here. "

"This roomy cottage is just perfect for a getaway at the edge of the world and can comfortably accommodate a large family or a couple of couples and kids. Your hosts Pauline and Hugh are marvellous and are happy to help with suggestions on nearby attractions and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking with towering mountains right next to a proper surf beach. The local sheep make it all so idyllic. We’ll be back soon."

"Perfect location in picturesque Donegal, overlooking the Diamond. Nearby coffee shops, stores, and pubs. Good launching point for exploring the spectacular cliffs and other scenic sites. The owner was informative and accommodating."

"Perfect location for several nights as homebase for sightseeing daytrips. Cozy and great amenities, although 6 adults might be tight; 4 was comfortable (we used third bedroom for our luggage). Beautiful, tranquil setting. Plenty of bath and kitchen towels; plenty of cookware and utensils; plenty of refrigerator space; easy check-in and operation instructions. Notes: 1) Listed as 2 bathrooms on Expedia, but to clarify, it is 1 toilet room w/sink, 1 shower room w/sink; 2) Some complimentary items...

"The location is perfect for visiting Donegal Town. It's very close to all sorts of shopping and transportation and places to visit. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to others."
"After traveling in Ireland for over 2 months, this is one of my top 3 favorite places.
The location, the lovely room, the city, the comfort of the bed and mattress, and the WiFi works great. I would easily recommend this hotel for Donegal and for Ireland overall."
"We did not order breakfast. So does not apply. Overall, very friendly and efficient and honest. Bill dropped a Euro 50 on the floor at our table. Daniel brought it to us and slipped it under the door. Much appreciated. Nice place. Great people. "
"Lovely clean comfy room. Had a bit of trouble with the heating not staying on, but this may be because we are not familiar with using this style of heating. Staff very helpful especially in advising that just down the road were Laundromat style facilities."
"Larissa (breakfast) was outstanding (friendly, attentive, personable).
Beds super comfy. Room spacious.
Food at the restaurant (dinner): delicious. Reception staff: friendly and attentive.
Parking across the street in harbor not too far.
Note: if you’re booking “sea view” you’ll make use of the blackout drapes for sure as the floodlights are on all night!"
