“We were not impressed with our stay here. We stayed for two nights and our private room was never serviced. When we arrived there was a yellow stain on the top sheet of our bed. We asked them to replace the sheet and they did, only to replace it with another sheet that also had mysterious stains. The bed did not have a fitted sheet but rather a larger top sheet that rested on the mattress which moved around as you slept, leaving you to sleep on the bare mattress. The bathroom had an awful smell……

“Hotel ziet er op het eerste gezicht leuk uit. Echter valt de hygiëne erg tegen (vieze lakens, opgewassen dekens, haren van anderen in het bed, vieze dweil in de badkamer). Verder was het ten tijde van ons bezoek erg warm in El Calafate. In onze hotelkamer stond de kachel de hele nacht op volle kracht te branden en hier konden we niets aan doen (behalve de ramen open zetten). Het was veelste heet.”

"Pros: They had a shuttle service that went to the town center every hour, which was convenient. The transportation service to the airport arranged by the hotel was good. Hotel restaurant had a good selection of dinner menu. Cons: The service was ok for a five star hotel. The room we got was very basic, and was very close to the hotel restaurant and the restaurant had very loud music playing during dinner time around 8-9PM, the walls are not soundproof at all. We had to call the front desk to ask them to lower the volume. They should have considered this and not have rooms this close to the restaurant. They did not provide bottled water in room, only refillable glass bottles, which would be OK if they had better water filling machines. You have to refill it yourself at the water fountain in the lobby, but the one they had was more for home use which was very small and slow. "
