A good hotel for our 1 night stop off to and from Danum valley and Kota Kinabalu. Friendly staff, comfortable air conditioned room and a buffet breakfast. The room had a smokers smell though and there wasn’t anything obvious to do nearby.
We stayed for one night before heading to Danum Valley. The room was clean and comfortable however there was a strong smell of stale smoke. Unfortunately we found Lahad Datu itself to be underwhelming with few features geared to tourists.
