“The room had a digitally controlled air conditioner. It worked. It was set for 71*F which was ok but we couldn’t find the controller. Until morning. It was in the drawer of the night stand. I suggest when the room is cleaned and prepped that AC and TV controllers should be left in plain view for the guests.”

“This is a great hotel for Travellers. Our room had a larger refrigerator with a working freezer which was fantastic for preparing meals for the trip to Thunder Bay. Great staff-friendly and helpful. Lovely selection of toppings for our breakfast yogurt and great coffee.”

“This was my third stay at this motel. When I was checking in, the two other guests in the office also had stayed there previously. That says a lot. The staff was great--helpful and friendly. The grounds were beautiful, a big grassy area surrounded by wildflowers. My dog loved it. The room was clean and well maintained. I'd definitely stay there again.”

“Thenhotel and the rooms are rustic. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and soft. However when using the stairs/ramp to traverse from the garage to the entrance to the foyer, the railing were sticky to the touch. The bathroom door in our room would bind somewhat on the tile flooring, the a/c could not be adjusted properly. We were awakened at 6:00 a.m. by garbage trucks emptying dumpsters in the alley beside our bedroom window. The breakfast was basic..”

“This is the best cabin we rented. It had old charm rustic and was right on the water, with lots of activities available (walks, biking, swimming, kayaking). We loved exploring the island and bays. Had nice grilled dinner and marshmallows on the fire. We highly recommend this resort!”
