It was perfect!
This cabin was everything! It was clean and cozy. Perfect location from downtown. It was fully equipped with everything a household would need. We enjoyed our time there so much that we didn't leave the cabin once! It was a wonderful experience during the winter looking forward to booking again in the summer!

Magical/Nostalgic!
What a magical experience staying at the 1940s house in Lake Arrowhead. Super clean, well furnished, with a fabulous book for our 5 year old to read, my family and I loved every second here. LA got some much needed rain, so this house was literally floating with the rainclouds, which led to a very magical/spooky experience. My daughter loved exploring the outdoor nature here and the gigantic trees. We also both loved the TV and all that it had to offer (we don't own a TV at home). My husband was in heaven. As a European he's been thirsty for woods, land, trees, and green. It did not disappoint. Thank you to the owners who were so kind and available. Book this place now if it's available! You'd be happy you did. :)

We were attending a wedding close by the property. Really loved the area. Our first time in lake arrowhead. The house was perfect. Had everything you need. Wish we had more time to enjoy and cook a meal.

Clean, quaint, rustic, secluded cabin in the trees. We enjoyed the fact that there are no neighbors nearby. Very private. Easy access to cabin as well. The large first floor deck plus a small deck in the back upstairs were put to good use. We loved it and would return again.

Great for a unplug and connecting with family
Very clean , secluded, peaceful but close to the town. Deck is much larger then it looks in the pictures plenty of room for bord games on the picnic table or just hanging out. Great place to reconnect with family and friends

We wanted a comfortable, clean place for our family to spend some time together and enjoy the snow. This was exactly what we were looking for. Everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep. Cozy Clean family friendly cabin
Loved our stay. Everything was clean and neighborhood was close to main road so easy to get in and out of town. House was well maintained and owner was very good with communication. My only complaint would be that we had a big snow storm come in the week befor we arrived and the driveway was not cleaned off. We had to park down the street and walk because not even the chains were working with how much Ice had built up. The photos of the house in snow made it seem like they would have it plowed for us to be able to access it. The street itself was also not plowed by the city. Grill and porches were also not accessible at all. Would love to come back in the summer! :)

Beautiful cozy cabin
This was a great vacation stay in the cutest cabin for our family. Bill and Lyndsey are wonderful host. They are very informative and have a quick response time. The cabin is cozy with plenty of space and all necessary amenities you would need during your stay. Very clean and check in and out process is very efficient and easy. Beautiful place to visit in the winter, the scenery is amazing. Great location!

My Husband and I and our two dogs wanted a quiet relaxing weekend. This cabin is perfect. Nestled in the forest, no neighbors just giant trees. Nice kitchen for fixing meals, cozy fireplace, wonderful neighborhood to walk our dogs. Would definitely enjoy again!

Lake Arrowhead Cabin- Amazing!
From start to finish, this VRBO experience was absolutely perfect. The owners were communicative and provided all of the information we needed up front, and were very prompt in answering a quick question during our stay. The place is absolutely amazing- plenty of room for myself and 3 friends, with beds to spare. Super clean and has the old-fashioned feeling we wanted but with modern amenities. Perfectly located so we were off the main road but not so far as to be confusing when traveling to and from. I would absolutely stay here again (and likely will). 10 out of 10 experience!

Fantastic cabin in the woods!
My teenage daughters (14 and 16) and I really enjoyed our late summer weekend getaway to this fantastic Lake Arrowhead cabin. It is clean, airy, secluded (in a good way), well-appointed and stocked with everything you need. While located right off a main road for easy access, it feels like you are in a world all your own. Plenty of parking, and space to wander around, with fun attractions a very quick driving distance away (coming from Los Angeles, I was unaccustomed to seeing any driving ETA of 5-10 minutes - and here it feels like everything is close and easy to get to - what a treat!). Excellent communication and care from the property owner as well. Super fun, will visit again to enjoy one of the other 3 seasons. Thank you!!

Relaxing Cabin away from it all
Really enjoyed my time here. We went to get away from our busy and hectic businesses and family lives and just enjoy the outdoors with our dogs. This was an ideal situation for us and the place really worked well for our needs. Not over the top with updating etc but it felt as it should, woodsy yet maintained. It’s close to restaurants and things in town but far enough out where when you’re back, you feel removed and in your own space again. The Clarks are responsive and friendly and no complaints at all. Very easy process and would love to stay again in the Winter to experience the snow here.

The property was very nice. Good communication with owners. When we checked in, we discovered the coffee maker was missing. We contacted the owners and within a few hours a person dropped off a new coffee maker. The deck is the best part of the house. You are able to relax and look out on the forest. There are no houses close by, so it’s very quiet. The shower water pressure is very low, but we made it work.

Completely Regrettable Experience
This is a review for the Vintage 1940's Cabin in Lake Arrowhead CA. I arrived with one other person (both in late 50's) early at 2pm with check in at 3pm, but was actually on the way to the market when I saw a car in the cabin driveway and stopped to say hello thinking it was the owners. It was the cleaning person who said she would be done at 2:30 but I said no hurry as we still had to go to the market. We returned a little after 2:30 and she was still there. No problem at all, but I asked if I may place an item in the refrigerator that needs to stay cold. She said OK but it wasn't cleaned yet. As soon as I stepped inside with her authorization I received a very rude email to vacate the property immediately. I then received a notice from my bank that I received a credit for less than half the amount I paid. Then a call from vrbo that the booking had been cancelled with the explanation that the owners are new to renting their cabin out and did not feel comfortable with me there since I arrived early and did not tell them in advance. They monitor you on the cameras they have placed throughout so do not misstep or you will be asked to leave. I was absolutely shocked (still am), especially working in the luxury hotel industry for 33 years. We would NEVER send a fully prepaid guest away for arriving early or make them feel uncomfortable. But they did just that and I felt the situation was handled terribly, being left on the side of the road on a mountain to have to figure what to do next. Their excuse was that I entered their cabin early, even though the cleaning person said OK and I simply placed an item in the refrigerator. The rep for vrbo called me and she said she felt this was so unjust and they offered to help me find something. After 55 minutes on hold, a completely different person came on and had no idea of what was going on and no notes were ever taken. I finally said forget it and drove for two hours back home. Be very careful with this rental, from the feeling of cameras watching your every move to their complete paranoia as to who is in their cabin. I will never book via vrbo and felt these cabin owners and vrbo were terrible to deal with. One note to end on, the rude woman wrote me saying "this is not a hotel, this is our home". You took my money, mamm, in return for lodging. If you are that sketchy about people in your home and feel the need to watch them on your monitors then I suggest you do not rent your cabin out.

Beautiful cabin
We had a wonderful trip. The cabin is charming and cozy. The bedrooms upstairs are beautiful with very nice exposed intricate framework. The kitchen is well stocked and the living room is comfortable. We did not use the fireplace but the hosts provide firewood, which is nice. We enjoyed the large patio. The area around the cabin is peaceful and quiet but still close to the lake, restaurants, supermarket (5-10 mins drive). There are plenty of hiking trails in the area We would love to come back.

Best cabin ever!
Our stay was wonderful and the cabin was everything it promised to be and more! The hosts were amazing, and we received detailed instructions for everything. The cabin has excellent heating, it’s clean, and the aesthetic is magnificent. Great for children, and secluded enough to give you a great outdoor experience. Highly recommend. We will be back!

We always have dish soap, kitchen towels and washcloths for cleaning dishes with extra under the sink and in the side drawer. Usually there is a clean sponge still wrapped too. Maybe the sponge was an oversight? Because this is a home, not a hotel, we leave out one set of towels per guest, with a couple extra in the upper cupboard. We take great pride in providing cabin necessities, cleanliness and a cozy environment for our guests.

How soon can we come back??
We had an amazing time! The cabin was so perfect. We felt right at home the moment we walked in. As soon as we were settled we both said we wished we would’ve booked more days. Next time we will. Bill and Lynsey were so pleasant and prompt with all communication. The cabin is so clean! That’s was a huge plus for us! The little town of Lake Arrowhead is so quaint and it’s just a 30 min drive to Big Bear. All-in-all it was the perfect and relaxing getaway we were hoping to achieve.

Great place to get snowed in!
Heavy snowfall during our stay, but the house was kept well to be able to handle it. Even though temperatures were in the mid 20s for a lot of our stay, inside the house was very warm, the water stayed incredibly hot when we wanted, plenty of blankets and kitchen utilities for cooking, and surprisingly fast internet speeds. Perfect for being snowed in! Would have liked more than one shovel so we didn't have to spend so much time digging our cars out of the snow, but I can overlook that because it was a fun experience. Any time we had a question, Bill and Lynsey responded very quickly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and have already considered coming back again over summer.

Perfect Cozy Cabin in the Woods
Just spent a 3-day weekend at this beautiful cabin. It is retro but with all the modern touches you need. The cabin was VERY clean and the beds and linens were super comfortable. We loved staying here and the owners were super communicative and helpful with check in and check out. It is close to town and the recommendations they give you are all great. We tried the pizza place and the Belgian Waffle house and were blown away with how good they both were. We also went to Santa's Village Sky Park adventure area for the day. The kids loved it and they had nice curated hiking trails. Go early to get a zipline reservation. We'll definitely want to return and stay longer at this cabin and in this area. 2 nights wasn't enough!

Stunning Home
The cabin was exactly as listed and extremely beautiful, clean, and cozy, with all the necessary amenities. The beauty of the surrounding redwoods was also a plus for some gorgeous scenery. The hosts, Bill and Lynsey were very communicative throughout the pre-stay process, and sent plenty of great information about the area. Lynsey Even reminded us to check the coat hanger behind the door for coats, before leaving. Something I totally might have missed. Great stay. Great hosts. Great home. Would definitely recommend.

Adorable Arrowhead Cabin
We absolutely loved our stay in this cabin! It’s the perfect private and cozy getaway! Proximity to downtown is a short drive or a nice walk/hike as we did. The cabin is very clean and has everything you need for a nice stay. We are reluctant to rate it so high because we don’t want everyone to discover this little gem! We will definitely be back!!

Cozy Cabin Among the Pines
We thoroughly enjoyed our family visit to William’s cabin. During the pandemic, cleanliness is essential so we were pleased to find the cabin in such spotless condition. Ample parking. Easy checkin. Games to play. Appliances work great and a large kitchen. Spacious accommodations for 4 adults and 3 children. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Best parts were the fireplace stocked with wood and hillside behind the cabin where we sledded in perfect snow conditions for hours. A short drive into town. A dishwasher would have made this an exceptional stay. Be aware that you’ll need to carry your garbage to a drop off location. Still, we highly, highly recommend!

Perfect Cabin for a family
We are so happy we chose this cabin to stay at. Everything was very clean and we absolutely loved the entire feel of the cabin. The location is perfect, private yet not at all far to get to market/eateries. Everything was comfortable and the place was nicely decorated and equipped with the essentials that we needed to cook. Plenty of games to play with, since we really couldn’t visit too many places as a result of the current Covid restrictions. Parking was spacious, we didn’t think it was at all difficult as some had mentioned. Only small minor suggestion would be to maybe have a dishwasher since a few dishes that were probably washed by previous guests, had to be rewashed so i ended up washing dishes before we used them. A minor inconvenience was having to dumb the trash. I’ve never had to do that before, and we couldn’t find the dumpster so we ended up bringing the trash back home, which was odd but not a dealbreaker.

Such a cozy spot!
We brought our four kids for my birthday weekend and had a great time! All the basic comforts you’d expect while still feeling a bit rustic. The attic area was so fun for the kids to sleep and loved that it felt remote while being a few minutes from the village. Would definitely recommend and we’d love to come back someday!
