The property was quaint a little out dated. Shower hand held wand was hanging in the shower instead of hanging on the shower hook due to someone breaking it or old. The place could use a makeover. Pool was green. I don't think I would stay there again

We checked in early only to be told that instead of 2 beds it was a king. After showing our conformation # we got our Room. The bathroom door wouldn’t close without lifting it up. The TV could only be turned from the top not with the Remote there was no soap of any kind. The shower was so difficult to use that we didn’t use it the next morning there were only 2 towels and we used one when the bathroom flooded because of how the shower worked. So no this is truly not worth the money

The hotel itself is older but cleanliness is an issue. There was hair in bathroom sink, shower, and tub. The bed smelled clean and no stains or hair. You get what you pay for and it’s a decent place to stay for 1 night. Has beautiful wooden swing if you go towards back of property. Must see!

I would NOT recommend the hotel based on my experience. The room was dirty - the rag between beds had deposits of things on it and the bedding ... i don't know if they even change it, honestly. The pool had grown algae (but it rained so we could not use it anyways). I could not breeze in the room bc of dirt and had to sleep with open window - got cold now. The front desk guy was trying to be helpful though One good thing- walking distance to the village, quite location, lost of fresh air

Their mirror was not cleaned OR cleaned with wrong product bc you couldn’t see reflection from it. Thankfully I had windex wipes in n my car. Other than that, very comfortable beds soft towels and a really pretty huge fireplace with friendly staff and the location to town is outstanding, walkable! Great value. Loved the old fashioned key!

Young man who greeted us was very polite and helpful, but not always available. Overall property needs updating and maintenance; the pool was not clean and filled with debris, furniture was dusty. AC in one room did not work. But still a basic place to stay overnight.

The lodge didn’t have any shampoo, conditioner, or body wash at all. On its website, it indicates that housekeeping is provided daily. I requested housekeeping in the morning, but until 5:00 p.m., my room was still not cleaned. So I called the front desk again. Two people over, but they only changed the towel and took care of the trash. If I didn’t call the front desk, they wouldn’t clean my room at all. If the website indicates that daily housekeeping is provided, they should do it. The standard routine should include basic things like taking out the trash, changing the towels, making the bed, and cleaning the floor. These basic things should be done without the guest having to call the front desk. The windows were dirty with lots of spiderwebs.
