Great place
This was a great place to stay in a beautiful location. The house was roomy and the hot tub was a plus. A couple of things to note- there were not enough bath towels provided (only 3 large ones for 8 people) so bring extras and some laundry soap if you want to wash them. There was also no foil or storage items for food, so I would recommend bringing that as well. The tvs were hard to work so we had to use our phones to mirror our apps. This was fine for us but would be hard if you don’t have streaming apps. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the views and walks in the neighborhood.

Perfect Mountain Fun Cabin
We had such a great time. The Cabin was adorable. The game room was a blast. My boys are 23 and 20 and had a great time. The hot tub on the deck in the fall storm was spectacular. I would definitely take my family again. :)

Family Getaway
We had a blast, would definitely return again, We enjoyed the Hottub & the game room which was so much fun! The host was available for any questions or concerns, the kitchen was also well equipped with pretty much anything you need to make a family dinner.

Something For Everyone
We stayed over the 4th of July weekend. The house is in a nice quiet area not far from the lake and close to grocery shopping. It has a fun game room with a wet bar, ice machine, basketball, air hockey, and TV with video games. Off the game room is a nice deck with a working hot tub (which was nice and clean!) There’s a hammock swing and gorgeous trees on the property. The house is well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. There was an air conditioner in the master on the top floor, which we were thankful for. The owner reached out directly prior to check in, so it was nice to have that kind of communication open in case we had access issues or questions (we had no issues whatsoever). We’ve been coming to Artowhead for many years and this was one of our favorite rentals.

Owner was great and responsive. Owner gave better and quicker responses than the property management company, but overall both were good. Cabin has all the features a small family or friends could desire. Would have liked to stay even longer.

Perfect cabin for our family of four! We loved every minute of our stay.
We’ve been to Lake Arrowhead many times and the Gables cabin is hands down our favorite. So many wonderful amenities from the cozy beds, game room with awesome tv, and outdoor jacuzzi. It was the best and we can’t wait to visit again! Thank you Gable family for sharing your lovely home with us.

Beautiful Home, Relaxing Stay
This is an amazing property! We loved using the game room, jacuzzi, indoor fireplace, and hammock. We were completely surrounded by beautiful trees in a quiet neighborhood, and loved every minute of our stay. Super responsive host, and clean property. 100% would recommend this stay to everyone!

Perfect Family Getaway
We came with our two teens for a long Memorial Day weekend & the cabin was perfect! It was clean, spacious and in a great location . We hiked, had lunch on the lake, rented a boat & did some tubing but also spent a lot of time relaxing at the cabin. The hot tub was awesome and we enjoyed watching movies in the game room, napping in the hammock nestled in the trees & playing board games on the deck. Michelle was an amazing host and answered any questions that we had promptly. We hope to be back again!

The Greatest Getaway
Spacious! Clean! Quiet! Fun! Had a blast spending my 33rd birthday at this beautiful cabin! The owner was in constant contact with me which helped a lot since there were a few questions I had regarding the house when we got there. Loved the hot tub! Loved the hammock, loved the rooms! Thanks again!

Lovely Stay - lot of fixing needed though
We had a lovely stay at this property. Kids had awesome time in the game room. We cooked each of the 11 meals in house - so kitchen was in fully working order. I was bummed when I learned that there was an additional charge for using hot tub - not sure if my credit card has been charged yet though. There were a lot of fixing needed with the house. I told the owner and they were very responsive, but I am surprised on how all these issues pile up. Either property management is not alerting the owner or they themselves are not keeping tabs on the property that well. Here is what I shared with the owner: 1. Dining table very loose. Felt like it was a legit concern of someone getting injured if it fell apart. It was just the bolts that we tightened by hand, but it was very very wobbly until then. Owner is surely aware of it. 2. All 3 bathrooms don't drain water properly. In fact, we didn't use one of them since it was bad enough. We made the owner aware of these issues. 3. The kitchen sink faucet handle was broken. The screw must have fallen off so the handle to turn on and off would fall off each time we tried to use it - then we had to put it back on. Owner said they would fix it promptly though. 4. House closets were not clean from deep inside. Not a major concern, but the cleaning crew should be on top of these things. 5. Towels and Linens were washed and stacked in closets, but it was just a big pile. It helps to have closets organized so strangers feel welcome. This was every closet that had towels and linens - none were nicely organized. 6. The lights in 2 rooms didn't work. When you go in a room and there id 1 switch, I think it should work. Perhaps the lights all work, but we stopped looking for light switches or remote controls in 2 bed rooms since it wasn't worth it. I would have rated a 3 star, but we did enjoy our stay and the owner was very responsive. I do hope they fix at least some of these issues. I would go back to this property, but I would ask explicitly if all the issues listed above have been fixed. Thanks....

We booked this time to have family from San Diego and Las Vegas come together. The accommodations were very nice. It happened to be one of the hottest weekends of the year, which was not expected, but we made the best of it. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. We would come again without hesitation. Was terrific
I came up with teenage kids and they were so grateful and happy. We had hikes close by, enjoyed the hot tub, the basketball nets, video games, the starry sky- house was a perfect spot. Kitchen was well-stocked with tools needed to cook meals. We were close to Jensen's for the needed items. Just all-around lovely visit.

Perfect getaway for my birthday in quarantine!
We were concerned initially about leaving home with all the craziness going on but SO glad we did! This cabin in the beautiful arrowhead mountain will not disappoint! CLEAN, comfortable beds, tons of room/storage to bring our own food to cook/bake/grill. Jacuzzi time is a must! Our kids and my husband (and even me) enjoyed the game room downstairs with air hockey, WII, and basketball, and playing darts, doing puzzles and more games upstairs! The owners were nothing but accommodating and easy to communicate any concerns or needs. We even got to enjoy the beautiful snow on this trip. Also the local grocery store is a one mile walk/hike each way—even carrying arms full of groceries we enjoyed the clean mountain air! Grocery has some wonderful meat, deli, wine selections (even though this trip we didn’t hover) Some general info: parking is limited so only plan on 2 maybe 3 cars max. The driveway is off of a steep small access road-doable but for this city gal it was a bit intimidating the first day with the snow and ice. We had to bring a slow cooker for one of our meals as there wasn’t one there, no problem at all just to be aware. Most of the other appliances and kitchen items are available! (We even made waffles!) I really don’t know what else to say other than if you need a getaway to the mountains even in quarantine madness, this cabin is the place to stay! We will be back!!! -The Backstroms

Most beautiful cabin
When I was looking to book a cabin, I wanted that woodsy, A-line cabin feel. This gorgeous place not only delivered but kept on delivering. Located in a beautiful neighborhood but still providing the feel of complete isolation, the cabin was surrounded by beautiful tress and has high end touches and welcoming decor. You have to check this cabin perfectly suited for suburban folks. It was the best way to socially distance ourselves and forget about the world and COVID-19 for a couple of days. We will definitely be going back. 10 stars in my book!

Perfect place for a family trip
Went for a 3 night trip with my family and in laws. Place was clean and well kept. I liked the option of having air mattresses for more guests. We enjoyed the game room and hot tub. All in all, a relaxing get away from the city.

The property is just perfection I loved every single thing about our stay! The layout of the cabin is great (bring baby gates if you have little ones). We had a big snow while we were there and it was picture perfect in every way. The fireplace and the hot tub or two of our favorite features. All of the amenities and little details are wonderful. They have everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms etc. if you come in the winter, make sure you have snow chains and make sure to park in the front of the property. The access road in the back is steep and gets icy. Because it’s private property it does not get plowed so make sure you park in the front! I want to come here with my family every single winter! It’s perfect in every way.

Great For Families With Kids
We just returned from a 3 night stay, and have zero complaints. This property completely met our expectations. It was clean, cozy and well stocked. We cooked the whole time and we were happy with the condition and assortment of the cooking supplies. There was an abundance of high quality towels and extra throw blankets in every closet and the down comforters on all the beds were perfect. It was a great stay. Kids and adults had a great time.
