Another Successful Visit
This is my 3rd year staying here in the fall. The owners are super responsive and live in the neighborhood. They recently added a shed, which was great for hanging deer. We slept 3 adults comfortably with one on the couch.

The home was decorated really nice & was very clean, organized & very cute & cozy. The location was extremely convenient to many local restaurants, shops, parks, outdoor activities, & the beautiful lake nearby is amazing! This city is also a perfect location for easy & convenient traveling to many other fabulous places & establishments close by to go explore in all directions!

I’ve stayed here a couple of times during deer season. It’s always convenient to our hunting property, 12 minute walk to Tap House bar, blocks from the town of Lake City. Owners live down the street and are very responsive. They upgraded the bbq area with a lean-to, which is nice when there’s rain or snow. We didn't use the fire pit but if I stayed longer I would have.

Thank you for your repeat visit we appreciate it very much! We are slowly improving and making upgrades to the outside. Next year a new shed to store the dried fire wood and hang deer in, and get the new siding put on that we bought this year (2021) and ran out of time getting it on the trailer,,,uugggg. Nice place for an overnight stay
Property was worth the fee. Very clean place. Enough places to sleep for 5 to 6 adults. The sleeping areas could be a little more comfortable but that's just our personal opinion. Located near the lake for nice views and quite. Also close to local eateries and convienience stores was a plus.

A good house
The house is very clean inside. You can find everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. The house is not big, but warm and sweet, perfect for a family of 3 or 4. There are table games for both adults and children. Also cable TV and some DVDs for watching. The location is good. You can walk to the lake. It took us 20 minutes to Cadillac lake, 1.5 hours to sleeping bear dunes and 2 hours to mackinaw city. Only the heating system is a little bit loud. The host very nice and helpful. The house in Google map is not exact. Should be on the other side of the road, as it is a circle. I have reported it to Google map. After all, we had a nice trip.

Sound's like you got to travel and explore Northern Michigan a little while you stayed in Lake City.. So glad to hear that.!!! Sorry though about the heating system being a bit load. Dawn and Tom are super hosts. The home is just as described and very clean. Everything needed is provided and Dawn even had a couple of baskets filled with Halloween candy which made my sweet tooth very happy! I will definitely here again. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect for our stay
We came into town for a memorial, location was easy to find. Kitchen fully stocked with anything you would need. Very clean, plenty of towels and lots of extras in case you forget something. Walking distance to the county park that has a beach, you can even see a sliver of the Thales from the front yard. Fire pit with plenty of wood!

Great weekend getaway
The property was very clean and recently remodeled. The location was perfect for our needs, as it was 4 minutes from downtown Lake City and about 15 minutes from our hunting property. It was two of use who stayed there, and it was plenty of room. Check in/out was easy and the owners live nearby. So, no issues at all. I've been using VRBO in the last few years for some of these family trips to Lake City. This listing will go on my "saved" list. Good times!

Perfect place for our getaway
nicely updated property, clean and great communication with property owners for the few questions we had. Stocked with plenty of kitchen utensils amd pots/pans. Short walk to the beach. Nice huge beach and a nice lake. Will definetly return if we are in the area again.

This is just the cutest place!!! Super clean. Perfect location.
This place is amazing. The location couldn't be more perfect. Just a few blocks from town and the county park beach. It's on a corner lot with a big yard. Nice fire pit and the owners supply the wood that's in a shed so no worries about it getting wet. Very clean!! Which to me is most important. The owners are very nice and also near by if we needed anything. Can't say enough good things about this place. 10/10 in my book.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home was very clean and roomy. The house is equipped with everything that you need (kitchen supplies, towels, bedding, extra pillows). Tom and Dawn seem very nice and were attentive to our needs. They responded quickly to all messages. It was also nice to have the lake so close by!
