Such a beautifully, well-kept, and greatly serviced lodge. All the amenities help provide a comfortable experience. Breakfast and dinner food was delicious. Staff was helpful and the business is organized, structured, and was well ran. The scenery was peaceful. Would definitely recommend this stay.
The staff were all very friendly and the lodge is clean, charming and updated. We had dinner in their restaurant which came out quickly and was delightful. Breakfast was included and we were able to order from the menu. We’re definitely returning next year. This place is a hidden gem.
The hotel is sparkling clean with well appointed rooms. The staff is an epitome of great customer service.. There is a 24 hour complimentary coffee and tea service and complimentary hot breakfast. The lodge has an outdoor activities center with direct access to cross country ski and hiking trails.
Great place with lots of character nestled in the woods and access to the thirteenth lake. Plenty of hiking trails at the lodge or nearby, and access to an on-site outdoor center where bikes can be rented. Food and service was wonderful.
Garnet Hill Lodge was perfect for our ski and snowboard getaway. The lodge staff was extremely friendly, kind and helpful. They made us feel right at home. Check in and check out were super easy. They have their own Nordic Ski trails which were awesome and the complimentary breakfast and sandwich bar for lunch were perfect for a day on the slopes. 10/10 would stay again.
My only complaint would be the breakfast buffet which is nowhere near as good as it used to bed. Excellent cold cuts were provided at breakfast since there is not lunch dining option. The renovated rooms are very nice.

Such a beautiful old rustic lodge , everyone of the staff was patient , kind and very accommodating. We were not able to ski due to the snow conditions but that gives me another reason to visit again .
Great spot to getaway and enjoy nature - complementary access to kayaking on beautifully wild 13th Lake, many hiking or biking trails - saw 2 pair of loons and an eagle while kayaking….room was nice and food choices were excellent-service staff was very helpful and provided great tips on what to do and see during my stay…fun time at a reasonable price for a getaway in the lower Adirondack Mtns!
The lodge is a comfortable place in a magnificent setting. The staff has been very accomodating. The oudoor amenities are wonderful. I would recommend Garnet Hill if you enjoy the outdoor scenery and activities.

Was amazing! Just black flies in the local area of hiking. Very nice fire in the evening. We tried the apple pie and it was great.
This was a wonderful get-away find that I wish I could keep to myself. This Lodge has everything you could want; cozy clean updated rooms with a great view of the lake from your balcony, friendly engaging staff, delicious food so you don't have to leave for meals and close proximity to great hiking, private beach with kayaks and a activity center where you could rent different items based on the season. We loved it. Thank you so much!
Garnet Hill provided a very relaxing environment close to nature. The Tea House room was awesome, with separate spaces for sleeping and hanging out, plus a private sauna. How unique! Staff was great. Food yummyand generously portioned. They even made a special meal for us for our anniversary night.
Don't expect a mainstream experience and you'll be impressed.
Lovely property. Stayed in one of the “cabins.” It was a beautiful setting and comfy room. HOT Breakfast is included. The restaurant was great. They have a hangout area for the kids. The main lodge was like aspen ski vibes. Went cross country skiing and hiking. Great spot!
Two night stay end of August.Wonderful, old, classic Adirondack lodge with full buffet breakfast and ‘make your own’ sandwich fixings provided for lunch.Only complaint is slow dinner service due to lack of waitstaff. For outdoor enthusiasts, this place is for you.More hiking trails than you could ever imagine!
This was our second year spending Thanksgiving Holiday at Garnet Hill. As always, the staff are superb and friendly and the food is very good. Room comfortable. We had a small issue with toilet but since my husband is handy, he made the two fixes easily!
I stayed here by myself to fish Thirteenth Lake. That was a short commute by car. The bite was slow but the lodge was comfortable and well-run. It's remote with no other options for meals nearby. The menu is limited and cocktails are expensive, but the food is good. The summer rate for the room without a view was pretty cheap for the region and amenities. The lodge is part of a property association including private homes that share the dock and beach. Remote but otherwise easy access to I-87. Cellular sketchy at best but Wi-Fi was good.
This property is nestled in the mountains and has a beautiful view, lots of activities and very friendly staff. The bathrooms were all updated in the main lodge (didn't see out buildings) and were very nice. The rooms were clean and the beds cozy. There are lots of activities on site, free breakfast and a restaurant. Since it is in the ADK, cell service is spotty but there is wifi on premises. Relaxing place to stay- would definitely go again!
