What a wonderful stay! My husband and I stayed the weekend for The World's Largest Garage Sale (definitely a fun event).As soon as we walked in, the house had a cozy feel....exactly like the posted photos.I based my decision to book this house on all the previous reviews stating how clean everything was....and they were all correct!It's a great house with a very welcoming feel.

Winter Getaway

Everything about this place is exactly what our family needed for a winter weekend getaway. Game room kept the kids busy, cabin was extremely cozy. Local ice skating and sledding was great.

Perfect!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property so much! We may have to return next time we are in the area. It had everything we needed, including a wide variety of kitchen supplies. The kids enjoyed the basement activities (ping pong especially!). We loved how secluded it was but also easy to get to nearby towns.

Family fun!

The Hideaway Chalet is beautifully decorated, and provides a lot of in house entertainment. It was super cozy to come back to at the end of each day being out and about. I’d love if it was a little closer to everything, but other than that, it was everything we expected.

Relaxtion

This home screamed relaxation. Every morning and evening I turned the little fire place on. My kids took full use of the game room downstairs and us adults did too with them and when they went to bed to play an intense game of ping pong. So many laughs were made in the short stay here. It was so cozy and lots of amenities that made this feel like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again.

Secluded cabin on a quiet road

Great communication with the property manager, including a text from a local representative who said to call with any issues. This cabin is clearly a rental, but the furnishings were nice, mattresses and bedding good, and enough cooking items in the kitchen to cook meals if one so desires. The deck is strung with lights that are on a timer, so if you drive up at night, it is lighted and not completely dark. 4 stars for cleanliness as there were quite a few ants when we stayed. While they had traps set up in the kitchen area, we saw them on the second and first floor all 4 days we were there, and not just on the floor but on the walls and tables/sinks/counters. I let the property manager know, so hopefully they will have an exterminator come out and clear the issue. Hopefully, they do as this is a wonderful property and that was the only thing that prevented us from giving it 5 starts

Clean and fun for the family

We stayed for a few days during a major heat wave, so the central air was a lifesaver! The house was spotless and everything felt very new and clean. Our kids loved the bunk beds and trundle, and we all loved the games down in the basement. Perfect getaway a little away from the bustle of Lake George but still convenient to all the fun.
