I have been staying here since 2000. We have never had a problem. But in the last few years we have noticed a decline in the cleanliness of the rooms. This year for fathers day my husband wanted to go boating. He asked to stay at the Quality inn like usual. He likes to go to the little bar they have there for an evening cocktail after we get off the lake. I reserved us a room. We checked in to room 326 Fri evening. Upon entering the room i noticed a foul odor. The room was dark even with the lights on and the bedding was dirty looking and had stains. But we were exhausted. I had just heard the girl at the desk tell someone else they were full so i knew that moving was not an option. The room next door had little kids screaming and playing until around 1am and it kept me up. The next day i was applying my sunscreen and i noticed about 5 bug bite marks in a line down my arm and 1 on my stomach. They were big and red and itchy and the sunscreen made themburn and itch more. I knew right away it came from the motel. My husband also got bites on his ankle as well. I went back to the motel and got my stuff together. I used a flash light and saw dirt and debris and an insect on the floor. I went to the front desk and demanded a refund for Sat night. The girl was super rude and didnt want to give it to me. Finally she agreed and i left! I am still itchy and uncomfortable from the bites. I will NEVER come back here again!

It was convenient and affordable. The rooms are currently going through renovation. The room was not very clean. Shower and bathroom floor were gross.

If you’re hoping to get some sleep here, book elsewhere. While we had no issues with the staff or property itself, it is nestled right along the incredibly noisy highway. SO LOUD.
