Lake Hume

Staff was nice, and the hotel was convenient to catch the bus to the airport. The room and hallways leading to the rooms though were run down. As a housekeeper myself, my room was not cleaned at any high standard, but can’t be too bothered since the price was cheap for the night. The only thing that was frustrating were the room keys. They say to not have it be near your phone or it’ll deactivate, which is understandable. But there were instances when my phone was no where near them and it just stopped working so you constantly have to go back to reception, which mind you is not 24 hours. I took a family member to southern cross in the early morning and on my way back my card didn’t work, so I had to wait until 7 am for someone to be there and activate my card again.

2nd time staying there and it was excellent as before. Excellent staff, facilities, 2 bedroom suite, parking, location to shops, cafes and restaurants. Our favourite place to stay when in Penrith. Fantastic accommodations
