First thing we opened the door. It smelled like cat piss. The carpet was so old and nasty, if you stay make sure to wear water shoes or rubber shoes to walk on the floor. It was that bad. The bathroom sink was blocked up. On for 5 seconds and the bowl is full. The kitchen had a stove that said it was for looks and not to use. The frig was mini and had tape inside the door to hold it together. The microwave that was on the kitchen table didn't open fully cause the table was all warped.i tried to make coffee in the coffeepot but it didn't let water through and all you smelled was burning.So I thought I'll try to make the coffee in the microwave. It took 3 min. Too get the coffee luke warm. The windows were all rotted and screens with big holes in them. So foeget about opening them to air the place out of the smell of cat piss . Cause you don't want to let the mice in while you sleep. The bed was also gross.I went to check for bed bugs.but had a cover over matress . Probably cause they have or had them. Also I saw a cat poop under the bed a couple inches. With crumbs and nasty stuff in the bed trail. You will be better off camping in the campground across the street. Wished I had a tent with. I would have forfeited the 95.00 with tax room.I felt so dirty after I left there. I had to wear water shoes in the shower cause I didn't want to catch anything there.

The room needs help. I know the owner is trying to renovate but our room didn't get anything done yet I guess. The door needs weather stripping, light and cold came threw it. The tiny refrigerator the door wouldn't close tight. I know they are trying. It was as clean as could be but extremely worn down. 😔😔

Staff very helpful. Bed was comfortable. Motel itself is old 1950's and is very basic. Would need a lot of upgrades to make it look better. But does offer the basics of sleep, shower, and safety.

Cute, CLEAN, dated, simple room. The only negative was our key card never worked, the internet television constantly "Buffered", and of course a lot of road noise. But I will stay here again, the manager was awesome, and the housekeeping was so helpful.

Restfull stay clean room calm and quiet. Enjoyable stay again. Staff is friendly and nice view of the lake. Close to some places to eat and some shopping. Close by the local hospital. Definitely will be back next time im in town.

The rooms are very dirty, seems like nobody cleans them in a daily basis. No one who can help you. Very noise, seems like a family of 5 leaves there in one of the rooms, who seems to be using drugs.

Motel

This is a great motel 6 type motel. I paid about 90 per night- It cost more for the kitchen. The kitchen has a sink, microwave, and mini fridge- the stove didn’t work. The bathroom was standard with toilet, shower and sink. The bedroom section The cleaning lady was very nice- she had two pets: a mini dog and a cat. When I was packing my stuff to leave, the cat entered my room and would not leave. It got on top of my bed- I’m okay with pets, but my husband is allergic to cats. The hotel is trying to keep a certain era look- that’s a great idea… but things like the carpet need to go…my safety chain was broken. The motel is called lake view- but I didn’t have a window view of the lake. There were some outside chairs, but they faced the motel. It would have been nice that there would be a patio/outdoor space to sit and see the lake.

Only complaint was the tv signal. Could not watch a show on any media without constantly spooling and then disconnecting. Had to watch tv on my IPhone. Otherwise very clean and comfortable.

Was not what I expected. The pictures are deceiving. I had people pounding on my bedroom door at 1:30 in the morning. Wifi did not work, so no tv or ipad could be used. The maintenance people were very nice and accommodating.
