We were in town for a 3 day swim meet. The pool was closed for the first two days. This was not advertised online, disclosed at check in, and no discount was offered. We picked this hotel because of the opportunity to use the pool in between the youth sporting events

The room was dingy and in desperate need of updating. There was a very strong, musty odor and everything in the room felt damp to the touch. I would highly recommend finding someplace else to stay. I will not stay here again!

My husband and I booked a stay on our way to Surfside Beach to meet our kids/grandkids. The hotel is located in a very good spot for pretty much anything! Walgreens, Walmart, fast food. The room smelled a little stale but we travel with good air freshener. The room was clean, parking was simple and the pool was actually open & NICE! Very beautiful at night, lit up blue & has a waterfall. The breakfast gets the job done as it had health options like yogurt and fruit in addition to a waffle iron, juice and coffee. They offered a late check out for a reasonable price. If we return to the beach, we’re definitely staying here again!

When we arrived, the room wasn't clean, but we were immediately assigned another one; in the new room, the tv and the lamps didn't work, but again, everything was quickly resolved. Breakfast ends at 8:00 AM-which seems very early to me, though it was fine- and the coffee and waffles were especially good. My boys enjoyed it. We got up earlier and made the most of the day. The staff was definitely very friendly, which gives us the confidence to return.

There was no one at the front desk at 9:00 AM and it took 10 minutes for the handyman to find someone to check me out. The staff didn’t know how to work the computer to check me out. They had to call someone on the phone to help them. Longest wait ever to check out. Breakfast was soggy biscuits and rubbery scrambled eggs. Bathtub had rust on drain, faucet, and around the tub. Bath water was lukewarm.

Restroom had hair in the shower and on the floor. Around the toilet there was dirt, grime and yellow crusty mess. The room had holes in the carpet, the table tops had thick swipe marks. There was a wet mildew smell in the room. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and it was good. The cleaning crew needs to do a better job. I was highly disappointed.
