「This is a picturesque inn with pretty views. The building is old which is noticeable. The sound proofing in the rooms is non existent. There was a wedding while we were there and we could hear all the music from our room. We also heard anyone and everyone in the hallway. Even with a sound machine (I was travelling with a child), we could fully hear every conversation in the hallway. 「The room was not clean upon arrival\. The carpet had not been vacuumed, and the bathroom tiles were dirty\. At breakfast, the coffee and tea stations were empty, and there was no staff member monitoring or refilling them\. Several breakfast items also ran out and were not replenished in a timely manner\. Overall, the cleanliness and service did not meet expectations\. Restaurant was closed. Staff were not overly friendly when asked for direction.」

「The cottage we got was not the one shown in the pictures. The main door had a broken glass, replaced with plywood. The kitchen had pots and pans, but nothing to cook on (only a microwave). Also, knobs on drawers kept falling off which made accessing kitchen utensils and dishes difficult. 「This is a classic inn that is scheduled for a massive renovation. Over the years there have been attempts to improve and maintain, lipstick on a pig. It’s good to lay your head for a night after being at The Kee or snowmobiling all day. It’s a functional place to stay, no frills or extras.
