Great location and amenities
We had a great rental experience with this property. It was very close to chimney rock state park and we had a wonderful time hiking there. We also were able to head to black mountain in around 45 minutes and tour the blue ridge parkway. I would stay again! Beds were super comfy!

relax on the deck with view of Lake Lure
The property is all on one level and laid out well with big kitchen. comfy bed. The deck was the highlight for us to sit and enjoy at any time of day. Convenient to get to town and other activities. The well pump failed and Mr. Lake Lure could not have been more responsive and helpful and prompt in getting it fixed.

This is a lovely cottage with a gorgeous lake view. The kitchen is great if you like to cook and there is a grill as well. Tons of space, great value, and would definitely stay here again.

Overall 3.5 because of cooking appliances
We enjoyed the short vacation. Everything was great except the appliances did not work properly. Both the stove and oven did not not heat up high enough for us to cook our food.
