Wonderful cabin
The cabin is cozy and comfortable, perfect for a couple. We really enjoyed the large jacuzzi in the bedroom. The cabin is very close to Hwy 64 which makes getting around easy but in exchange there is quite a bit of traffic noise. The traffic noise is the only thing that made me give the “location and neighborhood” 3 start. Also, the steps really need a handrail. The walkway from the steps to the front door are perfectly adequate but the steps are a little steep. A little bit of something to hang onto would be helpful.

Overall, nice cabin. Back deck had a few boards that felt spongy when stepped on. Fridge/freezer stank, couldn't put any food in them. Tub had a white substance in it, ran water but didn't get in, water was milky with what looked like calcium from the jets. I really wanted to use it, was main reason I picked this cabin. Bed was amazing.

Thank you for providing this feedback. The property was thoroughly cleaned & sanitized, including the refrigerator & freezer on the day of your arrival. Perhaps the odor was from what was used to clean. The jets in the tub were also cleaned and we do use a special cleaning mixture for those, so I feel sure that is what you saw. The tub would have been fine for you to use. We do wish you had called to inform of of these things while you were there, and we would have happily sent a staff member to address them for you.

Cozy Cabin
My wife and I absolutely loved this property. The cabin was so comfortable and we felt so relaxed and at home. Large, comfortable sleep number bed. Very clean. Loved the large jetted tub. We most certainly will book this property again. Cannot recommend it enough!

She Said Yes!
I asked my precious girlfriend to be my wife and she said yes!! I am blessed Thank you. Property Very well maintained (staff is excellent) and set up fully. We will be back very soon. the decoration and design of the cabin has nothing to be desired except a designated fire pit hint hint .. def not a deal breaker. We both love the cabin even down to the light switch covers.. outdoor lights are a great vibe. Gorgeous property..Loved the price too. Thanks again. Will refer you to anyone.

A nice place
The property is conveniently located and private. We enjoyed the secluded back deck. It had everything we needed. The only reason we would not return is b/c my husband had a really hard time with the steps from the driveway to the house path, as there is no railing.

Nice stay in the mountains
We stayed here 5 days and had a good time. Very quiet. Check-in and out was easy. Fridge was small (think dorm room) so grocery storage was a challenge but we made it work. A Keurig would have been nice; the old school coffee maker was made of plastic and didn't fit together/work well. Otherwise the kitchen was great-able to fix our own meals when we wanted, with ease. Roomy shower. Sleep Number bed. Separate HVAC for bedroom and living room. Awesome 3D Smart TV! Location is near the lake but no lake view. Back deck overlooks woods (nice) and beyond that, some homes on the road below.

Nice Stay
Great place on a quiet street! Close to everything. Clean and had all essentials! Only note is that bed is super squishy. Almost felt like a water bed. Not what I was used to!

A very cozy comfy stay
Very nice and comfortable. Everything that was listed was provided. Bed was super comfy. I would add a coat rack and some hangers. Close to restaurants and a Trip to Asheville or Hendersonville. It was a very nice stay I would book it again.

Anniversary Getaway
This place is amazing, exactly what we needed! Really easy road to get up. It’s a little steep, but it was nothing our ford fiesta couldn’t handle. Love the area. The house was great and very clean! Love that the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils to use. Would love to stay here again!

Great Stay
Our stay was just for a couple nights. The place was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Quiet street and just a couple minutes from the center of lake lure. (Obviously the off season, so just about everything was closed but one or two places to eat.). We had no issues checking in and did not need management for anything after initial information. Would recommend.

Mountain retreat
Perfect location and cabin for fun and relaxation. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the deck and views. I wish there was more transparency in the listing with the sleeping arrangements. The cabin said slept 12 but there was 2 kings, 2 queens, and a full size bunk bed on bottom with twin up top. Neither couches were sleeper sofas and the loft room had zero privacy. Also none of the beds were comfortable, and couches were quite old. But overall had a lovely stay and great value for the location.

Stayed two nights, and enjoyed our time. The cabin is well depicted in the pictures! It is very well made, well maintained, and when we needed assistance, we got it quickly (we were travel weary and needed help with a few things!) If you re staying longer be aware there isn’t a lot of storage for clothes (we had our luggage organizers so it wasn’t an issue for us). Lovely location!

Lovely stay with wonderful extras like a jacuzzi after my hikes! They need an upgrade on coffee offered, but all else was perfect for my 2 night stay. Oh - I’m new to VRBO - should I have to have brought along my access passwords from home for Netflix, et al? Weird. But I had books!

The cabin is beautifully decorated and we loved the pine wood on the floor, walls, and ceilings. The king size bed and bedroom is perfect along with a compact kitchen and grill on the deck. While it is only a mile or so away from town, the cabin is located on a ridge which gives a sense of privacy and seclusion

Well maintained and Very clean! The kitchen was equipped with all cooking utensils. I Loved all the table games they had for the kids. It’s 5 minutes away from chimney rock village where we had good options for lunch next to the river! and great ice cream. The local people is very nice with good customer service. Gorgeous Cabin!
This cabin was beautiful! There was only two of us staying and it was perfect for us. Very easy to get to, very easy to check in and out. It’s centrally located so it’s not far to get to the town center, the lake, and chimney rock! We will be back. Thanks again!

Great cabin!!!
Cabin was just as described with the only problem we had was how cold the cabin was while we were there. The "heater" in the cabin didn't warm it up as much as we would have liked. Seeing as there isn't a fireplace to help with heating a space heater would have been a nice option. Other than that we throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Great location, quiet neighborhood and easy to get to. We go to Chimney Rock/ Lake Lure quite often and finding this cabin will be first on our list when going there.

Snow Bound to A'Corny Cabin
Loved the Cabin and all the colorful Artwork throughout. The Cabin is perfect for two people or a couple with children. There is an abundance of games and books there for children and/or adults to enjoy. Very Cozy including a jacuzzi in the bedroom. We were there for the first snow of the season (at least I think it was). It must have snowed 12 inches. It was so BEAUTIFUL, everything was white!!! I could sit on the couch and look out the sliding glass doors to a beautiful view of snow-covered trees, houses and mountains. We had power the entire time. Also, the snowplow cleared our road once each morning. I'd like to come back this summer to enjoy Lake Lure and all of the outside activities in the area.

Me encantó el lugar!
La Cabaña es super acogedora, y tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos lindos dias. Los vecinos nos aconsejaron q Lake Lure en general es mejor visitarlo en primavera, otoño o verano, en invierno no es tan hermoso, y el lago esta seco prácticamente porque lo desagüan hasta la temporada.
