Wonderful views and comfortable beds.
All three bedrooms had king size beds which were most appreciated. Bed linen seemed very high end. Kitchen was well equipped with all appliances and cooking utensils Pool area was fantastic. Was a little cold to enjoy the beach but looked very nice.

What a view!
We’ve traveled to Hendersonville/Asheville many times but have never stayed on Lake Lure. The location was amazing. Secluded and quiet but close enough to everything you’d need. And that VIEW - mountains over the lake. Nothing better!! Next time we will stay for more than just a weekend.

Beautiful lake tucked away in the NC mountains.
One of the best small lakes in the US! Views from townhouse with many large windows and 3 decks to enjoy scenery. Wildlife abundant including occasional brown bears. Resort amenities nearby (too far to walk, but rental golf carts available). Very limited cell service, but wifi and Dish TV service. Boat rentals available but no place to park it near townhouse. Dock in picture is for owners only. Self check in did not work when we arrived, but staff arrived within 20 minutes to let us in and fix the tech issue. Lake Lure is a private lake and the community is very proud and committed to protecting the lake for future generations. Last year town added a number of protections for the lake and property owners. New rules to minimize erosion and loud noise. NO PWC/waverunners and limitations on size weight and power of boats. Also specific rules for wakeboard/surf boats. We were not well received by the neighbors as we showed up and placed our boat in slip belonging to someone else. The description of unit has been updated today I believe.
