“The location was great. Had a lake view room and was able to watch the sunrise. The pool and hot tub were clean and warm. The staff were friendly, allowing us us of the lake side bbq. Rooms were updated and clean.”

Even though there were other people staying on the property I felt secluded and as if I had the place to myself. I highly recommend Amnicon and look forward to coming back again in the future.”

“It was exactly as described. We wanted a camping experience but with the comfort of a bed. It is a walk to the beach/lake like it states. The Porcupine trail to the beach is shorter but not maintained. (Wear long pants & good shoes.) We did see 1 bear during our stay on the Lake Trail, so be aware! We stayed at Solitude which is down a slope so just make sure you have no physical limitations with incline/declines. Showers are in the main lodge. Always had hot water and never a wait for the……
