Really a great option for about 12 persons (difficult to sit at the table with more than that). Great fire pit, quiet area, close to multiple hiking, not too far for Lake Placid. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great getaway

This was such a beautiful vacation from the time we arrived at the chalet until the moment we left. This home far exceeded our expectations. The view from the kitchen window is one that I will never forget and the area is so serene

Awesome house!

This was a beautiful property! Smelled so clean when we arrived! Loved having the hot tub, steam shower, fireplace and the sauna! Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable too! Great stay!

Family Fun Weekend

Perfect place to stay for our trip to Santa’s Workshop. Chalet is super clean, many bathrooms, plenty of space for our large family of 8 adults and four young children. Close to great hiking areas. Host checked to make sure we got in ok and if we needed anything. Hot tub, sauna, porch, fire pit so many relaxing extras. Best was the kitchen seating allowing all of us to gather together. Fantastic place all around!

Adirondack Family Reunion

We had family come in from 4 different states for a family reunion. The property is wonderful. We all had a great time. Close to Lake Placid, minutes from White Face. I highly recommend. The property owners were easy to work with and really responsive. Love the week.

Awesome stay

Perfect place to stay and such close proximity to Whiteface Mountain. The house was perfect, CLEAN and had everything you needed. The host was so nice and very easy to get in touch with. I appreciate them getting in touch with me the first day to see if we were all settled in. Very accommodating. will definitely be back.

Great family place.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. It has big backyard and very nice fire pit. Hot tub was clean and temperature ready to use. Bedrooms were clean and so were the bedsheets. Very close to WhiteFace Mountain nad many hikes. Close to an awesome skate park as well. We all had a great time!

Our February Christmas

We had a group of 9 and 3 dogs. We tend to get together Super Bowl weekend. My Son Lives in Rochester NY and asked if we could find a place equidistant from there and Massachusetts. I found this home on VBRO. It fit the bill everyone had their space with 6 bedrooms all but one king beds.The living room was a little small for a house that size but the bar solved that problem most sat at the kitchen. It is probably the best rental I have had. It is close to skiing and Lake Placid was a blast. We had snow every day. We were kept plowed out.

Fabulous House and Property

Our family just had a wonderful 5 days staying at this house. There was plenty of room for 12 of us! It was quite warm out, but the indoor AC units kept us comfortable. The kitchen is beautiful…. we loved congregating around the large counter! The property is large… we felt like we were in the wilderness. We also enjoyed spending time on the wrap around deck. This was our second time staying at the house, and we definitely plan on coming back!!! Great for families!

amazing family get a way

Everything was exactly as described, communication was excellent. One small issue with the hot tub was corrected in a very timely manor. I will be staying at this location or another of Todd and Kim's rentals in the future

Amazing Stay with a Whiteface View

You can literally see Whiteface mountain from the Whiteface Chalet! We had an amazing time here. All the amenities you would want and more! The beds were so comfortable and the hot tub was the best! Although we didn't use them, there is a steam room and sauna as well. We dined at the restaurants recommended - Pizza was delicious and fresh from Fratelli's and Rudy's had amazing food (If you are familiar with Rudy's in Oswego - this is the same family) - so good! Both are minutes from the house! Would love to stay again!

Perfect place for a real vacation!

We went to the chalet for a girls weekend to celebrate a friend's milestone birthday. Everything was perfect, we had a ball. Todd and Kim have thought of everything, and when we forgot something, they made sure to get it back to us. We can't wait to go back. I'd happily recommend for another girls weekend, but also would be great fun with the kids. Thanks so much Todd and Kim! We'll see you soon!

Great House, even better host

House worked perfectly for our group. Had 1 issue with the house that the owner handled immediately. It’s a house…things happen. But what sets this one apart is how responsive the owner was. Will rent again.

Amazing property!

We came across this listing when looking for a house that would hold 9 adults and 2 children. This was a perfect location -- plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone to hang out. The kitchen was well stocked with all needed pots, pans, utensils, crock pot, etc. The owner was very good about communications - whether about the location, the items that we should consider bringing, or the overall rental policy. If we need a house in the future we would certainly consider any of the multiple properties offered by these owners.

Whiteface Ski Trip

The House and location were great and Judi was extremely helpful and responsive! The only negative was that we had 2 dogs on our trip and were required we vacuum before leaving. The last thing we wanted to do at the end of a ski trip was spend an hour to vacuum 3 floors when I already paid hundreds for a cleaning fee. Other than that, the house was great and very close to the mountain for skiing!

Beautiful home - great for big families! Great amenities!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The layout was perfect for four families (5, 4 and 3 yr olds and 3 babies too) to spend the weekend together. The kitchen is well stocked with all the gadgets...just like at home. The finishes are gorgeous and the house is very spacious. It was wonderful having the kitchen island were we could all gather together and we never felt cramped. Beds were comfortable and it was great that almost each bedroom had its own bathroom. We all loved using the hot tub, sauna and steam room. The little town is not far and we enjoyed the scenery while walking there. Even though it was a bit rainy the kids loved the yard and loved exploring up and down Abbey Lane, we especially loved the little rooster that was walking around! The owners and the caretakers were extremely helpful and accommodating. I would definitely book here again without any hesitation.
