Great stay!
This property was perfect for three adults and two dogs staying in Lake Placid for the weekend. House was clean with a very open feeling. Hot tub was great after long hikes and fenced in yard was perfect for our group. Location was perfect for us-not right in town but not too far out. Would recommend this property.

Fall vacation
Our stay at Lake Placid was fantastic. The house rental was perfect for our family gathering with more than plenty of space in the living room, dining room and kitchen. Having 2 bathroom spaces with laundry included was a bonus. The amenities included made the stay very comfortable and home like. Having the large deck to enjoy the outside was really nice.

Wonderful summer weekend
In town for a family wedding , house accommodated our family of 6 comfortably . Hot tub and large deck a definite plus . Would definitely stay again while in the Lake Placid area. Loved everything.

Hiking trip
Visiting area to spend a few days together with all the kids before back to college and middle school. Location was perfect for us, beautiful open floor plan, deck with grill and hot tub (perfect after several challenging hikes) and convenient location just outside of town. Owner was helpful and easy to contact. Hope to be back next year to hike Mt. Marcy and will make a return visit here for sure!

The house is roomy and open. It was nice to spread out after being in small hotel rooms! Ashley left us a bottle of wine in the fridge! Beds very comfy. Easy 5 minute drive to Mirror lake attractions

Quiet Tine
My family (dog included) and I wanted a quiet mini vacation from NYC life for a few days and Lake Placid offered that. The house was beautiful and spacious enough for four adults to move around without getting in each other’s way. The heated floors in the bathrooms was a nice surprise. Highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a quiet reprieve from everyday life.

Friends Ski Weekend
Lovely conveniently located, cozy, and pet friendly rental for a few friends and dogs for a xc ski weekend. Close to trails and town. Host was very responsive and property was great for our needs!

Perfect Lake Placid location. Walking distance to town and all that town offers.
Great for dogs w/fenced-in yard. Clean, nicely appointed. Big deck, outside seating, grill, hot tub and dogs can be outside safety with you.

We had a great time at this property. Just my wife and our dog. It's a very dog friendly place and very clean. Very close to downtown lake placid and the Big Slide Brewery. Small hot tub was perfect size for us--we used it every day. Strong recommendation.

Lake Placid Getaway
We had an amazing trip. The house was close to town with easy access to food and the Olympic sites. The house was incredible and lived up to and exceeded the VRBO listing. The amenities at the house were incredible and we will not hesitate to stay here again should we return to Lake Placid. I cannot more highly recommend this property.

Excellent place to Stay right near town of Lake Placid
This was excellent properly, and our favorite part is how dog-friendly it was. Even the outdoor deck/yard areas are all fenced in with gates so that you can let your dog roam about. The place was large and clean and I highly recommend this place to anybody looking to stay near Lake Placid. The Drive to the town of lake placid is less than 2 min away.

Our experience with this stay was great! It featured a nice open layout which was great for the kids to play in and also allows animals which is always a plus! It was located just outside of downtown and was nice and quiet. It’s the perfect rental for a nice family vacation and we will definitely be back!

Perfect for a family getaway
Great property with everything you need. Plenty of space, nice amenities (laundry a huge plus!) and very clean. Owners were responsive to our questions and genuinely interested in making sure we enjoyed the place. Beautiful setting; owners pay attention to landscaping and overall upkeep. Perfect family getaway
We stayed another property next door last 4th of July and loved it so this year we rented the bigger house. Perfect place for my family. Relaxing and big enough to give everyone the room they need. Would highly recommend to everyone. 3 different sleeping areas, 2 bedrooms and a loft. Hot tub was a nice touch after a long day of hiking!

Nice Home in a Great Location
We found this home to be as described. The location is great--it is even possible to walk to the main business district of Lake Placid from this house. The children enjoyed the large deck and the open indoor space. We had a nice time and will consider this property again for future visits to Lake Placid.

Love this spot!

Perfect Cabin w/ Amazing Location
The pictures in the listing really didn't do this property justice! It was clean, spacious, private, and in the absolute best location I could imagine! The living room and kitchen area were MASSIVE! 10-15 minute walk to downtown, theres a paved walking path which was really nice. 15 minute drive to Whiteface mountain. We went to Smoke Signals BBQ and it was the best food and drinks we've ever had! The flatliner burger was our favorite. Theres also an ice skating rink really close by and it would be a really cool activity to do at night! Bathrooms had heated floors which was really cool, rooms were spacious, especially the loft. Beds were super comfy. We brought our dog and she loved being able to play around in the snow in a fenced in yard. There was even a water and food bowl provided for her which was nice! Only issue we experienced was the hot tub was a bit too small. We could only fit 3 people comfortably. 4 people under 150lbs could probably fit in it at the same time, but any more than that the hot tub spills over. A few more bath towels would have been nice to have as well. Overall this cabin was perfect for our group, and we all had a blast! Lake placid is a super cute "hallmark" town and this is a great cabin to be able to experience that and ski/snowboard an olympic mountain!

This is a nice property and the 2nd time we’ve stayed. Only concern was I contacted owner when we got there Friday night, thermostat hanging off the wall and gas fireplace not working-never heard back from her. Last time complication was great. Even if I don’t like the answer and answer would be nice, it is what it’s is and we deal.

We couldn’t have loved the house more. The Adirondack touches were throughout and it fit our family of five perfectly. Everything was very clean, hot tub was ready to go, and there was tons of space for everyone to stretch out after long cold days outside!

Station Street Getaway
The house is in a relaxed neighborhood (think free range fancy chickens next door) and is a short drive to downtown Lake Placid. It is set up as a party house with a large open concept living/dining/kitchen area. The appointments are cute and clever, and who doesn’t love heated bathroom floors?! It was a great getaway!

The property was very clean and had plenty of room. The photos were on point. We travel with our dogs and it worked out great. Side fenced in yard was fantastic. They were able to run around and play safely when we weren't dragging them hiking. They deck was enjoyable just wished there was a few comfy chairs to relax on. Only suggestion if you travel with your pets...bring a gate for the deck if you want to restrict them from the yard. Other than that, it was a great choice and I would highly recommend it.

Wonderful Lake Placid Getaway!
House was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The location is great for being close to town, some places are walkable or just a short drive! The hot tub and fire pit were great for relaxing evenings. I would highly recommend this property and would stay again!
