It’s renovated and clean property, however if you are in the first floor prepare to hear every single noise and steps upstairs. Plus, it would be great to have any additional space or small reception. it’s a modern type motel.

When we first walked in, we were hit with a wonderful scent of pine and the room felt warm and cozy. They have a noise curfew for a reason, walls are paoer thin, my wife and I apologize to those near our room haha

Property was clean. Bedding was sufficient, not outstanding. TV did not get major channels, Hulu was working, Roku and other smart options required a password. Check in time of 4 PM a little inconvenient. Forces you to unload, unpack, clean up and get into town or whatever after the dinner time 'rush'. Overall, fairly priced and clean.

I really loved my stay at The Boha! It was just a great location..far enough away from the hub of town but an easy walk down! Room was clean and comfy with great decor and staff was friendly and helpful by phone..Highly recommend!

Clean, new, easy no-contact checkin, short walk to downtown, and the right price! I was on the first floor, and could hear the conversation of the people above me, but fortunately had earplugs and slept just fine. The room was very warm despite turning down the thermostat as low as it would go, so I simply slept with a sheet. Even with these two issues, I give it five starts b/c it was so clean and you can't beat the price for Lake Placid! Would definitely stay again, but try for the second floor.

Quaint room. Excellent hot shower with strong pressure. Thin walls and floors so noise from others could be an issue. Although the walk is doable, not super close to the main area and certainly not enjoyable in cold or very hot weather.

I loved this place and would highly recommend it. You get an entry code to your room so no need for waiting at the reception. Room is very tastefully decorated, clean and very comfortable. It is 10 min walk to the Main Street where all the shops and dining is. The ski shuttle stops almost across the street and on the way back from the mountain drop off is in front of the Boha hotel. I am definitely going to stay here again.

The rooms were beautiful! However, beware 1/2 of them are on the second floor with difficult to navigate stairs, especially with a suitcase, etc.

The host were contacted me right away, offering information and thanking me for the reservation. It’s contactless check-in with a keypad. I would’ve loved to see it in the summer- there was a cute patio with shared fire pit. The decor was super cute. The only thing that drove me nuts was how thin the walls and floors were. I could hear everything. I would definitely stay again.

The room was quite basic. There was no armoire (closet) only a hanging place over the fridge/microwave combo. So you would hang up your coats over the microwave. There were only paper-plastic cups, could not heat up some water for tea. The sheets had holes in it!!!! Quite surprising for a hotel that had generally good reviews. There was no reception, no staff, just a text message to get the access code. Overall quite disappointing and a big contrast vs listed reviews that make me think they are somewhat filtered.

I hate leaving bad reviews anywhere but this was truly a terrible experience. There were some minor things I'd normally have no issues overlooking and still could have had a great stay. But the one thing that just made it awful was the sound from other rooms was unbearable. You could hear every footstep from rooms above and adjacent. Not only were they audible but it was as if the acoustics of the room amplified it all. Trying to sleep was a nightmare. Its as if the whole building has to coordinate bedtime and wake up to get a peaceful night.

Hotels.com should let you know that this hotel do not have a desk. It cost me a surprise 15$ in roaming charge on my phone to get my room unlocked, after a couple of text message and phone call i was in a room that was not cleaned. A desk is pretty nice service so you don't need to idle in your vehicle 30 minutes to get your room.

Assigned to room 5, but it was occupied 45 minutes later we wete assigned to room 4. Also the step up from sidewalk to room was very difficult, im 76 and use a cane. Found some patio blocks to to ease entry. Otherwise, enjoyed our stay

This is a recently remodeled property that has welcoming rooms with new flooring, bathrooms, etc. The rooms have a nice cozy feel to them. The management team is very helpful! The location is excellent as it is within walking distance to downtown Lake Placid. Next time we are in the Lake Placid area, we plan to stay here again.

The room was exceptionally clean and the check in process went smoothly. Our host was easily accessible via text message before, during, and after the stay. The location of the hotel is walkable to restaurants and stores, but the property is still quiet and peaceful at night. The fire pit was lovely and the kitchenette was unique and useful- the Ninja oven and Instant Pot allow you to cook gourmet meals in your hotel room. We enjoyed the coffee and water area. This is much better than your traditional hotel stay experience. Our only issue is that we could not stay longer! We were very pleased and will be back again.
