Located 10 minutes from Whiteface Mountain and 25 minutes from Lake Placid New York.

The Main Chalet in Jay sleeps approximately 13 people and is attached to (shares a wall with) Pine Loft at Jay Chalet which sleeps approximately 4 people. The entire property is The Chalet at Jay and sleeps approximately 17 people. This property may be rented 3 ways. If you only want one side of the property but want to be the only party on the grounds, please inquire regarding a reduced rate to secure the entire property.

Business Summit

Another great stay and the weather was great. Always grateful to arrive and sad to leave. Working with Melissa and Marty is always super easy and they are always accommodating. This property is great in any season, always clean and super quiet being on a dead end road.

Phenomenal House and Hosts for Our Family Ski Trip

This was our 2nd time staying at The Main Lodge at Jay, and it did not dissapoint. The Main Lodge has a great unique design, with plenty of room for our family, and is a 10-15 minute drive to White Face Mountain. The hosts were very communicative and the check in process was seamless. One added bonus that we love about this home is the unique design, which offers the ability to control the temperature in different parts of the home. So if you have a relative that is constantly cold/hot you don't have to argue over the heat setting, haha. We will definitely stay again!

Jay In The Fall

Perfect fall weekend at the Chalet. Its my favorite time to rent the Chalet. All the beds outfitted with super comfy new blankets and my clients always comment about how comfortable the beds are. The fire pit is a great place to gather for a chat. Coffee is always better sitting on the upper deck while enjoying homemade chocolate chip cookies from our favorite local diner warmed up in the oven. Rent your long weekend at the Chalet today.

Winter Weekend

Phenomenal house

Just Keeps Getting Better

After 2 years of repeatedly returning to The Main Chalet in Jay on almost a monthly basis I have to say it just keeps getting better. The owners are always updating it to make it a better stay each time and it feels like home.

Amazing Property

Always a great stay. Enjoy returning each month with a new group of business owners for a Leadership Summit. Feedback from the attendees: Super comfortable beds, great layout for working and relaxing, and who doesnt like taking a break from working on business stuff to play a quick round of Pac-Man. in the bonus room?

Fishing Trip

Wonderful stay! A beautiful cottage in an idyllic setting; our hosts were attentive and accommodating. The house is very spacious with a large kitchen and big bedrooms. It’s well appointed with a real high peaks feel. Close to plenty of fishing holes and a quick drive to lake placid. We plan to return on as soon as we can. Matt

Business Retreat

I’ve now been staying here each month for over a year bringing business owners in to work with them on strategy. We love how the property is tucked into the trees, the fire pit, the open space for gathering and also the super comfortable beds. It’s always clean and well taken care of and the recent upgrades just made it all the better. Most of all the hosts are fantastic to work with and it’s a great price for the stay. If you’re looking for a family get away or time with friends you just can’t go wrong.

Feels Like Home

After bringing multiple business owners to this property for the last 18 months for a weekend Business Summit, I can’t say enough great things about this property. The owners are always reinvesting to make it even better. I have some business owners who have attended more than once and they all say the same thing. “We Love This Place” We refer to the Chalet as Base Camp. Where lives are changed, new business ideas are forged, and families are made better.

Awesome Stay!

My family and friends really enjoyed our stay. House was beautiful and spacious enough to fit all 12 of us. The Fire pit outside and 2nd floor balcony were the highlights. We would definitely stay here again, if we decide to plan another trip near that area.

Cozy Cabin-Close to the Adirondacks

We recently met up with family and truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin tucked away in the Adirondacks. The location was perfect in that we felt like we were out in the mountains. But we were close to many of the local attractions including the Ausable Chasm, the Jay Covered Bridge, North Pole, NY and Lake Placid. There is plenty of room for a large group to spread out. Lots of games for the kids, beautiful views and SO quiet!

The Perfect Location

This is the 3rd time staying at the property. I’ve been utilizing this great property for a monthly men’s leadership retreat. It’s the perfect layout with lots of close outdoor opportunities for recreation.
