It seems that, the smoke detector was inadvertently placed on the TV table instead of being mounted on the wall mount as it should have been. We apologize for this mistake and have taken immediate action to rectify it. The smoke detectors in the bedrooms were correctly installed, and we apologize if they were not easily visible to you during your stay.In regards to the missing moldings, we apologize for any confusion. When we remodeled the apartment, we made a conscious decision to preserve some of the original character of the house by not installing moldings in certain areas. Good morning Crysten, Thank you so much for your feedback. As you booked through one of our 3rd parties (Expedia), you would have received an email via their email portal. I just double checked and see that an email was sent out yesterday afternoon with your room number and code in the Expedia portal (which should go directly to your personal email). Our model at Weekender is much more streamlined than a typical hotel experience. We do not staff our front desk 24 hours and send all information electronically, allowing our guests a more efficient arrival experience. I'm sorry we weren't able to host you this time, but I do hope that you'll give us another opportunity in the future as we offer a great product and experience for our guests who stay with us!
