"Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!"

"This listing does not do the property justice, this was such a cool stay! Very private and felt secluded. Felt like an MC Esher house with multiple twisty stair cases and hidden nooks and crannies everywhere. Amazing view of the sound! Soaking tub and one of the shower heads was not working during our stay which was a bummer but I'm sure the host will fix it soon. "This is just what my sister and I were looking for. It was quiet, clean and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying beauty of the outdoors. There are a few items that could be updated inside or repaired but it didn’t distract from our stay. The kitchen didn’t have any bowls to make a salad."

"This home was perfect for our friend gathering. It had plenty of space for conversations, the kitchen was well supplied with high quality plates, bowls and silverware, and the bedrooms were comfortable and clean. There are nice outside areas that we didn't use due to time and the cool, rainy weather. The garden is amazing and so beautiful!!! Thank you for making this visit easy for us!"

"What a great getaway house! It is well-appointed, and the kitchen has everything we need. It was great to be able to charge our vehicle at the house. The beach was amazing for long walks, and terrific mountain biking was close by. The house is exactly as presented in the VRBO description, and the owner was easily accessible. We will be back."

"The house is on the smaller side as far as the living area. But very cozy and was fine for the two of us! I went with my mom we were visiting her brother who lives down the street. We really loved this home! I can’t think of anything to complain about! The door lock was confusing, it didn’t always work so I used the key from the key box. Other than that it was great!"

"Great views, lovely rooms, with the exception of the kitchen area. There was no stove top and no way to really cook anything we had brought with us, which meant we had to purchase additional food and / or eat out. Additionally, there were no filters that fit the coffee maker. Thankfully, we had brought our own coffee maker, filters, and our own coffee. For the price of the unit, not having a real kitchen was a big disappointment."

"We loved our stay on this property it was clean well cared for and the view is amazing. I have stayed many places on Whidbey and this by far had the most wonderful view of both sunrise and sunset. The wildlife amazing. The quite amazing. Beds are the foam type, water pressure excellent and a full kitchen."
