The service was excellent, showing us to our room and the layout. Very clean rooms and a nice kitchenette. First day the breakfast was delivered to our room exactly at the time we requested! Second day we ate in the dining area and were just as impressed. Very quiet area and good for star gazing.

Staffs are super friendly. Room is very spacious and clean. The room has a really nice view of the lake and mountain. Very close to downtown. There’s no elevator but it isn’t a problem to carry the luggages up to the room on 2nd floor. Will stay here again if we’re in the area.

The Galaxy is a newly built motel which was designed with great planning. The room was spacious with a comfortable king bed. We had a beautiful view of Lake Tekapo from our room. The bathroom has a nice deep tub and a window that also allows you to see the view. The shower had great pressure too. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location is a short walk to town (maybe 8 minutes) as well as the Lake and the Church of the Good Shepherd. Highly recommend!
