“We absolutely loved this home and its beautiful location right on the water! Everyone had such a great time fishing, clamming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The hot tub, fire pits, and game room were huge hits too. There was plenty of space to accommodate our large group, yet it still felt cozy and perfect for spending time together. The location was ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet close enough to visit all the nearby national parks. Highly recommend this place for families or groups looking for……

“Everything about the stay was amazing. Directions to the cabin were perfect, they left some really yummy huckleberry bread for us, the instructions for the hot tub were perfect. Ruth and Scott gave us plenty of privacy, but responded to our messages and texts promptly! The cabin itself was super cozy… we watched movies (even got the DVD player working!), had romantic meals by the fireplace, played some games, went out to explore the island and nearby yarn store, and walked around the property……

“Property was great dogs loved it. I was close to town yet felt very rural and quiet. Bonnie was terrific and we would definitely return next visit to Yelm.”

“While the property was immaculate inside, typical lake house issues arose, such as spiderwebs and bugs. We were disappointed with the cloudy hot tub, which prevented us from enjoying it. However, we did appreciate the view.”

“Very comfortable for two sisters! Beds were very comfortable (even tho photos only show 1 bedroom, there are 2). Tub/shower combo with complimentary shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Sufficient plugs in for medical equipment and lap tops. Kitchen is easy to work in even though it it compact. Convenient to downtown and West Olympia. Having coffee pods and tea included was a real plus. It was a bit unnerving to have the lights blink every time the air conditioner came on, but we didn’t need the……

“We are a group of 80 year old long time friends. We have been spending several days together each October for the past 20 some years. Shabby Chic was the perfect house! We each had our own room and common area was perfect. Kitchen accommodated multiple cooks. We plan on a return trip next year!Vashon is truly beautiful. ”

“This is definitely a pet friendly home! There werr dog beds and crates, toys a d food bowls as well as a fenced in area.The house is on well water. We found it easy to adjust and work around that.”
