"The staff were extremely helpful! My car battery died after going to the office when we arrived. A gentleman named Marcus gave me a ride to pick up a new battery and even installed in for me! If you like a quieter, low-key experience make sure you book a room in their facilities across the roads not on the beach! Beach front has blaring music till late and accommodations are crowded in. Nice people!"

Cottage Place on Squam Lake

10/10 Excellent

"Felt like home. They do a great job offering events and music on 5he property. We had a tacos and tequila night. The beach just across the street is very accommodating with plenty 9f swim and boat gear. Great firepits for the campers to hang around and made good friends. The cabins are great but could use some updating and a little more cooking staples. Newer owners will probably remedy as they are always looking to improve."

Lakeview House & Cottages

10/10 Excellent

"Staying at Lakeview House is like stepping back into the Victorian era, but with all the modern conveniences. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully appointed. If you’re a solo traveler or couple I highly recommend staying in one of the rooms at the front of the house (mine was room 9) - you can lay on the bed and look right out at Lake Winnipesaukee and the Ossippee mountains."
