Cozy modern boathouse

The boathouse was cozy, clean modern (with internet and TV) and a perfect get-a-way. Access was simple and the outdoor amenities were great! Highly recommend the boathouse if you want to relax, fish, or get out on the water for some outdoor activity!

It was beautiful and peaceful! Our only complaint is that they allowed our dog but had nowhere for him to go “potty”😳😳.

A unique stay with just the family.

This place was just adorable. We chose it because of the boat only access, which was fun for all of us. Husband had some great fishing days. My daughter loved that we had use of the kayaking equipment! She had a blast with all that. The fire pit on the dock was amazing. All in all it was a unique memorable stay and would love to stay again. Thanks!

Overall the stay was pretty good but my wife and I spent the first hour plus cleaning. There was spider webs all over the place. Some we walked into before we knew that were there. There was mouse poop all around the base boards, along the counter tops and on the table. Mouse poop in, yes in the hand towel in the bathroom. So we ran a load of towels. The dishwasher was not working so we had to hand wash dishes so we could eat dinner, and all weekend. The water faucet in the bathroom was broken. Had to manipulate it to turn off/on as well adjust the water temperature.. The dryer had wet and moldy smelling towels in it, we rewashed them so we could shower.

The Boathouse

In one word…Spectacular! Well appointed apartment above a double boat well. Love the boat access only. Has a breakwall so docking is easy. Area is peaceful with daily visits from ospreys and bald eagles. The apartment itself is very comfortable with a full kitchen. The bedroom has a very comfortable mattress and a generous bathroom with a rather large shower and plenty of hot water 😎 An additional raft has a fire ring for evening campfires. The raft the house sits on has a walkway around the house so it’s easy to find a place with just the right amount of sun and wind. Kayaks are available with floating docks so entry is easy. We normally rent oceanfront but this is much better. Looking forward to coming back soon 😊
