New place for us
In the past we have stayed at the Big House in Garden City. We couldn't get it this year and found this one in Laketown. For the most part my grandkids preferred staying here. They loved the game room, had contests and spent most of one day in the room. The huge couch on the main level provided room for all of them to sit and play games on the large screen TV. A lot of time spent competing on Just Dance. They are obviously not dancers, but that did not stop them from having a great time. They also preferred the beds they slept on. We missed the hills for sledding, but the main level made it so easy to have all of us together in one room. All in all, we had a great time and are glad we found this place.

Awesome!
We had a great time here for our family reunion! The kids stayed totally entertained so adults could chat. The kitchen was very well-stocked. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful. The yard was amazing. It was lots of fun for everyone. So convenient and spacious. This rental was a little bit off the beaten path, which I really loved. It didn't feel like we were in a tourist trap. But it wasn't isolated in any way. We were still located close enough to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Lodge!
The property was spacious and had plenty of games and activities for the kids to enjoy. We loved Laketown Lodge. I would have given a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the non responsiveness of the management. I emailed 4 times, (the first email was sent in March and we stayed at the lodge in July) and called several times, never receiving an answer, and left at least 3 messages and never received 1 reply. I would highly recommend the Lodge as long as you don't care to communicate with the management.

Great property
This is a fantastic property for a large group (like my family). We had about 35 people and never felt crowded. The location is good and close to the lake. There were a few issues that needed to be addressed, but after reaching out to the property manager I never received any response. So that was a little disappointing considering how much this place cost us. Other than that, our stay was wonderful. This was the second time we rented this property and we will probably go back again.

The Perfect Gathering Place
We had about 40 people stay here for a family gathering of all ages. This facility was terrific for our group. The fenced back yard with a volleyball net and trampoline and the basement with every imaginable game kept all the children and teens happily engaged. The kitchen was well equipped for all the meals we made and I loved all the storage space in the pantry and large laundry room. The plentiful bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable with nice linens and blackout curtains. We would be happy to return for another family reunion.

Family reunion
It's really remodeled beautifully. Family was impressed with openness on main floor. Loved game room and play room. The suites were nice.Fun with volly ball. Was disappointed to check in so late in the day 4:00 and check out so early 10:00a.m. The man who let us in was pleasant. He came 20 min early and let us in. One of the faucets upstairs only allows a small trickle that should be fixed. The toilet in suite 1 ran all night so that was an annoying sound to try to block out. We realized that we left 5 gallons of milk in the main fridge. I hope someone was able to enjoy those. Every time my husband and I went to laketown, I wanted to rent the laketown lodge. Im glad we did. Our family would stay again. Although I was disturbed to find a deposit left on the grass by a big dog. I hope that doesnt happen to anyone else in the future. We did dispose of it. We did struggle with the code to lock the south door. We finally manually locked the dead bolt and went out the west door.
