"Sunnyside is a gorgeous older property right on the lake. The room was comfortable, the shower fantastic (awesome water pressure), and the views spectacular. "
"Beautiful hotel in the great location of Olympic Valley. Room was very nice and clean with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious. Pool/patio area was very inviting. "
"The hotel was beautiful, set back in the trees on the slopes so very quiet and outside of town. The beds/rooms were very comfortable, quiet and spacious. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The only complaint I had was that the main pool/pool restaurant were closed for renovation. This wasn’t noted during booking or on their website. They did offer use of the smaller spa pool with poolside service from another restaurant but it was quite a bit smaller. Overall it was a beautiful stay. "

"This was our second visit to the property. The interior of the rooms is a cabin vibe. The rooms are clean and everything was in working order. We explored the amenities including the outdoor games of corn hoke and ping pong. The clubhouse had a fantastic kitchen, lounge and sitting area. It also has a fire pit with a sitting area. The property sits at the base of the ski resort which is probably perfect for the skiers in winter. The property offered free bikes and beach chairs which we did use. It’s located close to the shops and restaurants in the village. It’s approximately 8 mi from Tahoe City. It was a peaceful location with the beautiful mountains surrounding it. "
