“We came as a group of family and friends to observe the eclipse. We wanted plenty of space and proximity to other things to do, like hiking and the winery. This fit the bill and was quite affordable too. In addition to enjoying the property, we drove to Letchworth State Park, which’s was only 45 mins away abs very worthwhile. We loved the (steep) hike down to hemlock lake, and the short walk to Oh-Neh-Da Winery too. It was a great home base for our long weekend.”

“I picked this place because it was in the zone of totality and I could watch the eclipse from the comfort of a hot tub instead of having to fight through traffic. Clouds unfortunately completely blocked the view but still had a great time. There were some minor maintenance issues like how the main bedroom door downstairs did not shut that should be fixed to improve other's experience but overall it was a lovely visit. “We stayed for a long weekend to view the Total Solar Eclipse. House was immaculately clean and orderly. Heat worked great! We brought groceries and had everything we needed at the house to make all meals. Loved the dining table in the front room with the wonderful view of the lake. Owner was super responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Very nice neighborhood, friendly people liked to stop and talk when we went for walks. Good selection of streaming choices.
