"I can’t say enough great things about this place. It was everything we wanted and more. We wanted somewhere with a fire pit that accepted dogs and got so much more. It’s clean, comfortable, tons of room. Every cooking utensil you could want is there. We not only had a fire pit but a screened in picnic area too! Crivitz was about 20-25 min away but there are so many bar and grill eating places within a few miles. Snowmobile/ATV trails were right out the back door. We’ve already made plans to come back next year. "

"Over the years our family have stayed at many rental properties, so I don’t say this lightly — our stay at the Northern Retreat On Chain Lake was our favorite. The listing represented the rental house well. Beds & bedding were comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. And having coffee on the dock overlooking the lake as the sun rose was amazing. The firepit was wonderful and the extra chairs were perfect when family stopped by to roast some smores. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us."

"This was our second stay here. We love the house and, coming in September and October, it’s very peaceful and private. It’s more of a “bring your own stuff” place than some others but it was not an issue for us. Clean, comfortable house, great host, it’s a winner. "
