Family summer trip to Lambesc
We rented Jacques’ incredible and classic house for a week with the whole family; 13 in total with three children aged between 3 to 13.
The house is situation in a quiet area on the edge of Lambesc. It’s a short walk or drive to the town where you will find everything you need to stock up for a week with several good supermarkets.
The house was exactly as expected from the listing. It is a very large old house but completely modernised and very comfortable. It was 38 Celsius most days and we were grateful for the air con throughout. The bedrooms are all spacious with comfortable beds and most have excellent showers. The kitchen was the best I have ever experienced at a rental property; this is spacious and very well equipped, including a very large fridge/freezer. There is also a La Cornue oven!
One of the best features is the close proximity of the kitchen to the outside dinning table with views over the pool. This allows for easy meal preparation whilst still being in the main social area of the house.
The outside area is very spacious with several quiet areas to relax. The pool is excellent. It is a good length for keen swimmers and also suitable for young children due to the large raised paddling section. The hot tub was also great for relaxing and star gazing in the evening.
Jacques was an great host and spent time to walk through the whole house and explain how everything worked.
Overall an excellent place to stay.
