"The best part of the location is that the entire property is in it's natural state. The retreat blends in with the surrounding landscape. Why anyone would cut down the trees, fill in the swamp land to build a seawall, then build a giant house and have a yard to mow is beyond me. Kudos to the owner for respecting what makes the place a beautiful place to stay."

"Originally rented for myself and my wife for an anniversary stay. But when she had some health issues, she insisted I invite a couple of cycling friends and go anyway. The property was perfect for us as the 50+ mile Capital City to Sea Trail mid-point is only a few miles up the road. The mobile home has some age on it, but is in good shape considering, and very clean and comfortable."

The cottage is located in a great location close to many hotspots for birding and nature exploring. "We were in the area for a local fishing tournament, Rock the Dock. The house was in a perfect location to all our favorite fishing spots and it was super nice to be able to use the boat dock. The house was clean and well stocked. Loved the upstairs porch area, but the best part was the downstairs outside swing. Yard was nicely manicured and enough parking for several vehicles. Property manager responded promptly to any questions. We will definitely rent again in the near future!!"
