Good for a big group/ family with kids
The outdoor spaces, pool, jacuzzi, sauna and tubs are extraordinary. Plus pool table and ping pong for more fun. Tons of room inside. Not ideal for 2 adult couples without kids who are looking for leisure and comfort- more of a home base if you want to explore the region. We loved cooking on the grill, but the beds were just okay and the indoor lighting is with halogen floodlamps meant for outside, so not so relaxing. We also had to do quite a lot of cleaning ourselves including washing the gritty sheets before we could use the rooms comfortably. Expect to bring your own paper towels/ soap/ toilet paper. We did love that they provided robes!

Entrance a bit difficult over grown and low branches over rough grass awkward for us who are tall and elderly. But the we did all love being in such peaceful and well equipped home, the pool was really lovely and well maintained, and most of us couldn’t resist the hot tub!! The one thing that disappointed the adults was lack of toilets in en-suite bathroom in fact only two toilets in the property from description of three en-suite we expected them to have a toilet. But overall we had a very relaxing time the coffee machine and beer machine were fantastic and much appreciated by all. By the way who is Maurice we met Jacques? Janet

Wonderful property in fabulous location
We had a lovely week here, the pool, outdoor kitchen and hot tub were fantastic and even with 3 days of heavy rain we still made use of the covered outdoor kitchen and went from pool to sauna. The huge tv with speakers was great too - the kids loved going through the Harry Potter box set in the evenings. Ideal for more than one family with separate sleeping "wings". Modern luxuries with old french charm, would definitely return.

Maison au charme fou empruntée de verdure, de calme et équipée grand luxe
Nous avons grandement apprécié le charme ainsi que les équipements de cette splendide demeure dont l’hôte, toujours très accueillant et disponible, ne manquera pas de vous conter l’histoire si vous le désirez. Nous avons tous passé un excellent séjour tant les parents que les enfants (nous étions 8 adultes et 5 enfants). Nous avons grandement apprécié à ce titre que la piscine et le jardin soient clos. La maison est entièrement pensée pour accueillir des groupes de vacanciers (tables intérieure et extérieures immenses, vaisselles et rangements en quantité adaptée, nombre de chaises longues et serviettes et peignoir de bain important, ...). L’hôte est de plus très sympathique et bienveillant, il connaît parfaitement la région et pourra vous guider dans vos excursions. Tout est réuni pour passer de merveilleuse vacances !

Calme et super bien équipée
Nous avons passé une belle semaine, piscine, jacuzzi, billard, ping-pong, pétanque, que d'activités pour tout le monde. Les repas au bord de la piscine, la baignade sous le ciel étoilé, des moments à partager entre amis, famille ou juste en amoureux, la maison est assez grande pour que chacun ait son moment d'intimité. Seuls points négatifs, seulement 2WC, et la boulangerie est loin pour le petit déjeuner. La vue sur le château avec le soleil couchant est aussi magique...
