"The hotel itself is a stunning place to stay at. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The catering and services were brilliant. Very impressed with pool, sauna and steam room. I was very happy and content to see there was plenty of food options for me, being I have a Gluten and Diary free diet. It’s been a very long time since I was able to enjoy a delicious crispy battered Cod in this type establishment. The breakfast setup was fantastic and ticked all my boxes and provided great alternatives. Unfortunately I have to say the gluten free sausage was awful, you can get a better. The room itself was not clean well, got dust on my jeans when knee down on the carpet for example. I think this maybe due to the fact our room choice details were not provided to hotel from third party so they had change our room to a room with twin beds that wasn’t meant to be used. I was annoyed that the receptionist constantly implied it was my fault that they didn’t have the right details. I believed being I requested and booked a twin room via online that this should automatically relay to the hotel. This needs to be looked at. Our room was too hot, so had a terrible first night sleeping. why so hot?, unsure as radiator was not on and window was open, perhaps we were above the kitchen or laundrette?? So had to ask for a fan. Suggest a fan is provided at all times in this room. Also concerned disable guest were not fully informed of no lift. There a few more points but can’t say as no space too."

"Overall it a good stay: very clean and staff seemed happy and willing. The little things like I drink decaf which was poor so the next day there was a pot of decaf waiting. Double charges for room service are alway a frustration, tray charge and service charge. Just say how much you want and let people tip! There is also complimentary water in card bottles that they ask you to fill but on filling the bottles desolve or split and leak everywhere."

"Check in was easy and the gent on reception was very welcoming and efficient. The room had everything we needed for one night, was quiet and immaculately clean. Toiletries were provided as well as washing up liquid & sponge. There's a mini freezer inside the fridge and ice tray plus complimentary tea, coffee and milks. Parking costs £10 situated at the back of the property but we managed to park for free directly across the road. The centre of Preston is a 15 minute walk. Would highly recommend City Suites, fabulous value for money and good location."

"Easy to find and lots of parking when arrived early. Room was just cleaned, Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room very nicely set out and lots of useful items. Swimming was way to book and empty. Very Happy with the stay, would stay again 👍😊 10/10"

"Super stay, excellent facilities particularly loved the pool and steam room. Bar area excellent as the kids area tucked away round corner with a tv and football table and massive chalk board a really nice surprise. Evening meal and drinks great as was service and foot at breakfast. 9.5 out of 10…..poor pillows and uncomfortable mattress dropped marks but forgivable as stay was so good otherwise."
